Nice hotel, good breakfast, convenient when travelling with a car.

We stayed here the night before boarding the cruiser. ROOM: Our room was comfortable enough with enough space for our luggage. BED: The bed was okay for us, pretty comfortable. BREAKFAST: The breakfast was also good, with enough choices for both of us. SURROUNDINGS: We travelled with a car and visited the city centre with the car as well. Both the city centre and the cruise dock were a short ride away. The parking was available for us at the hotel. COMMUNICATION: The staff at the hotel ws nice and helpful.

Worst stay if the last decade

Big Room with enough Space for our baby.

Its too loud. You cannot open a window because the hotel is 50m from a big Highway. And even if you turn off the loud air condition, there still is a loud noise coming from it.

Pleasant Stay

It was a nice hotel. The room was clean and the breakfast was satisfactory. I really liked the idea of having dumbbells and a yoga mat :) The staff was very friendly especially in the reception there was young lady who was very kind and friendly.

The location is not great - in order to reach the hotel from the center you need to walk for like half an hour and the road you take does not seem very safe to be honest especially in the evening. Nothing bad happened but it was not very comfortable.

Nice location and stuff

The room was tidy, the staff was nice. It is really next to the port. It was not loud even though the port is just right next to the hotel.

The bed was bigger as we requested, but it wasn't very comfortable because the two beds were pushed together instead of having one large mattress on them, and we could feel the boundary between the two mattresses.

only convenient for the port- not a good area very sketchy, basic hotel in need of a refurbishment

staff were helpful and friendly convenient for the port only- but not relevant to out stay

area is undesirable- many males drinking in the street conducting unsavoury activities- especially adjacent to the car park which is up steps and difficult to navigate with luggage at a charge of 16 euros a night - you have to walk past them to get to the hotel reception and they were there at all times of day and night- not suitable for elderly or vulnerable persons. the room is tired, aircon did not work well, beds uncomfortable, linens clean but stained. not worth the charge- bathroom tired and smelt of raw sewage, i was working until 1am and someone tried the door.- first time I've felt unsafe in Italy. NOT CONVENIENT FOR THE CENTRE AS INDICATED- basic 2 star hotel with a nice reception.

Extraordinary Hotel

We had a very pleasant experience in this beautiful,clean, professionally run by Holiday inn. It has a beautiful view overlooking the harbour of Genoa. Staff were friendly and cooperative

Hotel neighborhood, although central, does not look safe at night. Too far from ancient city center. Need public transport. Everything in the room is either broken or starting to break apart.

Very comfortable & clean

Had to book in last minute (1 hour notice) due to travel issues. Very easy Check-in, comfortable & good location. Staff were very friendly & spoke great English. Was only going to stay for 1 night but enjoyed it a lot so ended up staying for both nights and cancelling my other accomodation. Super clean & comfortable.

We enjoyed our short stay at Holiday Inn. It met with all the normal expectations for an IHG hotel.We had a room at the front with a great view of the water. It was within walking distance to most places along the sea front.

Our stay included breakfast which again was fine. My only complaint would be the lack of staff when it was really busy as food was not replaced in a timely fashion.

Tub drain didnt work, was fixed too late didnt have time to use tub. One day the towels werent replaced with new ones.
