Clean, comfortable and cosy accommodation on palmer street. Perfect to go for a stroll on palmer Street and try out various restaurants and pubs. Location is fantastic

I booked 2 nights for my son while he attended FNQ Athetics Championship. On Day1 he was woken by housekeeping who said he had to check out. Reception then called him and said the booking was for only one night and he was an hour late checking out. He went to reception and we disputed this, as we had booking confirmation for 2 nights. We showed the Duty Manager who said that Agoda had only booked one night, she had only been paid for one night not two and we would be charged for late check out. She said its not my problem, made no offer to check, or investigate further. Then she said that they had no availability so he had to leave. She told me to contact Agoda but all the contact details agoda provided were for the property. The AI support said all was booked correctly. We then showed proof of payment for 2 nights, she still disputed it. We asked her to check the reference and she realised her error - they had booked him in incorrectly on day 1. She offered no apology only said he could stay in the room. They had just been prepared to evict my son. We have travelled extensively and have never been treated with such poor service. I do not recommend at all. We will not stay in an Oaks property again.
