Royal Beach Eilat by Isrotel Exclusive

Excellent hotel. Exceptional cleanliness in my opinion, this is the cleanest hotel in Israel, which is the most important factor for me. Great location and exceptionally well-maintained rooms with housekeeping several times a day. Special thanks to manager Elena, who checked in with us regularly and genuinely cared about our comfort throughout the entire stay. I consider this the best hotel in Eilat and will definitely return.

At night, when sleeping with the window open to enjoy the sea air, there was sometimes a smell of food coming from the restaurant. I go to bed early, so this was noticeable for me.

The Royal Beach is undoubtedly a beautiful building in the best location of Eilat. Some (but not many) of the staff were very helpful. The hotel is very clean. There are plenty of sunbeds but that may have something to do with under-occupancy. Room service was quick. Housekeeping was very efficient. Special shout-out to Rikki who we saw in the VIP breakfast each morning. She is one of very few few members of staff who smile and appears to want to really make the guests happy. Rikki was our star. The bell boys who help with the luggage are excellent and super-attentive.

The reception staff have an attitude problem and act as though they are doing the guests a favour by even speaking to them. The VIP lounge by the swimming pool is dark when they dim the lights after 5.0pm. The main swimming pool is not heated which is a poor show in the winter months. Most of the staff do not smile. They seem mostly miserable. As it now seems in Eilat, there was no special event for New Years Eve. Not like many years ago when all the hotels put on parties.

The Royal Beach Hotel is nice and luxurious. Hotel and rooms design beautifully. Before we arrived we had a phone call from the hotel and they asked me about our preferences and fulfilled all of them. The room was spotless, with high-end amenities in the bathroom, soft towels, robes, a coffee machine, and complimentary water — everything you’d expect from a five-star stay. The pool was clean, well managed, and spacious. Location is very sentral to the beach and to the promenade. Breakfast was very good.

The only downside was that parking wasn't available and there wasn't transparency regarding parking availability. There is some very rude person in charge of the parking that says to guests that the parking is not available now. You can't see the real situation there. I think that honorable hotel can't afford this behavior with the guests.

The location, the pool area.

The parking situation is terrible. It’s not just there are not many parking spots, but also it’s not well managed. We signed up on the waiting list to charge our car on the first day we arrived and the called us on the phone only our last night at 11pm! Terrible service. Other than that, the room wasn’t very clean, and they kept taking off our kids bed every day. So we had to ask for bedsheets and pillows over the phone every day.
