Fabulous city centre hotel

Friendly staff, great amenities - the pool & spa were perfect and easy access to the gym. The feel is very luxe... and location is perfect for exploring Auckland CBD.

We paid extra for a city view room and our city view was of the apartment building with a peak down the corner of the window to the rest of the city and a teeny glimpse of the harbour (and you had to be standing right by the window to see this).

A luxurious staycation

Superb view across the harbour and of the lights of the city. Comfortable bed and had the best sleep . Enjoyed the pool as well. Quiet room.

A bit of a maze to navigate back tot he car an wasn’t able to go back to access the sky bridge once I checked out. A small inconvenience.

Great weekend but the rooms particularly the suites need to match the value of money brought for.

Upgrade of elevators and the security regarding floor access is great.

One of our rooms missed a robe and the grand suite is not as good as what it used to be the crockery & cutlery is average and only 1 fridge that wasn’t cold and didn’t have freezer like the other fridges in the rooms. There used to be 2 fridges in the suite but only 1, also there’s a dishwasher but no amenities to use them so we had to hand wash everything to reuse. This is poor for a room that’s soo expensive

Staff were awesome, service was exceptional. But the rooms was the only down fall.

The grand entrance was definitely grand. And we had valet parking which was so convenient especially having two kids with us. Staff was exceptional and very welcoming. The location was perfect, restaurants near by and the Skycity.

To be honest the down fall was the rooms we were in. For the price we paid for and the reputation the grand has - it was a disappointment. The room was nice but not so grand at all, which I was sad about. I’ve stayed in may hotels at a much lower cost and the rooms are spectacular.

A really great hotel just a few steps away from the Sky Tower !

The hotel is just in front of the Sky Tower, so great start ! Staff was super helpful and nice too. The breakfast is just amazing with a huge buffet and a wide selection of plates. The heated pool is a nice plus also.

Excellent all round

A very warm welcome and they were able to accommodate our early check-in which made a massive difference after 36 hours of travelling from the UK. Room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Gym, pool and sauna spotlessly clean and an excellent facility for us. Highly recommended.

Great place and a great location

The room was great, fairly quiet, and exactly what I was looking for, it was an anniversary trip. We ordered food for the room when we arrived and it was there as we hoped it would be. That really helped set the tone for our time in Auckland. We would stay there again if we are ever in Auckland again.

The towels were replaced even when we hung them up, the note in the bathroom said to hang up towels if you want to reuse them. The coffee pods were not replaced so we went to an outside shop to get coffee our last day.

Everything we needed.

Nice clean comfy place. The room had all the essentials. Gym had all that was needed to have a good little workout. Pool, spa and sauna were up to standard.
