Hotel Florescente

I loved the convenience if the location and the fact that you couldn't drive down the street in front of it. The staff, Vanessa, Olga, the labradorite woman, and the wonderful breakfast staff were friendly and charming! Easy walking to the river

Great location, right in the heart of Lisbon with shops, sights, restaurants all a few steps away. The room was large with a seperate lounge area, comfortable beds, basic amenities provided and they allowed us both early check in and late checkout by an hour, which was much appreciated. The area is buzzing with tourists and really lively. The largest Zara store in the country is 5 minutes away by walk and other luxury as well as high street brands are also a stones throw away which is convenient for shoppers. Breakfast was basic but good, they made nice omelettes on request. We also got a voucher for welcome drink on arrival. We wish we had a longer stay and would definitely book again if we came back to Lisbon. The decor has an old world charm and is distinctly Portuguese.

Not much to critique, the AC wasn’t very effective but it was fine for us as the weather was pleasant.

Location and the size of the rooms

We were a group of 10, some of them were staying in the old rooms and some were quite small. But some were already renovated.

Booking was for twin room.as travelling with work colleague hotel.did not resolve but swapped with others in our group, allocated double, room was very small and dated, also room.at front of hotel is extremely noisy. Take earplugs as noise didnt stop til 4am on 2 nights out of the three making sleep impossible, for this reason would not stay here again.
