It is a lovely hotel, although not all the rooms are refurbished as yet. We were very disappointed in our initial room, but after some discussion, we were moved the next day. The hotel is in a very good location. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is terrific, and we ate in the restaurant twice.
It would have been good to have solar heating for the pool as it was very cold, while we were there in early June.

The staff at the welcome desk and at breakfast were super kind, friendly and helpful. The location is very central to many of the sights in the core of Lisbon. Although it’s right in the central area, our room was very quiet. The breakfast was good.
Our room was a bit dated and snug. The hotel is in the midst of renovation and we were in a room that wasn’t yet renovated. I’m sure the renovated rooms are quite nice. The public areas were comfortable and updated.

The reception/management staff was exceptionally gracious and helpful ( including running for a bag I had accidentally left on the sidewalk as I was looking for the hotel) when I arrived for check-in. The hotel gifts guests with a free drink at their bar. And, should you dine at their restaurant, guests receive a small discount (not advertised in advance).
