Good room, great dinner

Room was large. We were upgraded to a sea view room. Would have preferred a shower to shower within the bath. Cleanliness very high breakfast choice ok. We had half board, the buffet was more limited than some others, starters, salads and desserts were good. Indoor pool and spa facilities good
Evening meal choice more limited than hoped for our teenagers. Hotel felt more geared up for older guests, may be down to being early in season.

Access to beach pools
Only one type of wine by the glass - not a big drinker so didn’t want a bottle which was the only way you could choose something different to the house wine. Service at front desk by male staff member was average, drink service was very slow, system for paying for drinks was confusing and not explained, how food worked was not explained - what was/wasn’t included, when booking an excursion we got sucked into a ‘sales pitch’ and taken to another hotel where the sales member realised that coming from Australia wasn’t going to work and no return taxi was offered so we were out of pocket getting back to our hotel when we should have saved significant money on the excursion.
