Best location in terms of a hotel in the area and the view is incredible. Breakfast was a lovely buffet - lots of options. Location nice and close into town. Lovely rooftop bar for sunsets. Staff generally tries to make everything enjoyable!
When I arrived my first room smelled like a sewer - they quickly moved me but I think rooms on floors 4 and down might share this as I’ve read other reviews. Would be an issue in high season when fully booked. Also my bathrobe initially looked like it was 20 years old and when I mentioned I was given a brand new one- so clearly they have nice ones but don’t put them out. These are not huge issues but if you’re going to market yourself as 5 star you need to pay attention to details. Guests expect this. A hotel shouldn’t be worse than my home at a 5 star level. It’s an escape. Drains don’t need to smell, towels and bathrobes should be replaced - guest shouldn’t be pointing these things out. I

It has a very nice setting overlooking the sea and the rocks
They was upgrading the decking around the pool so there was lots of drilling and clattering plus there’s improvements to the side of the property where there was pneumatic drill hammering away at the ground which we could feel through the flooring of the room.
One of the reasons we chose the hotel was for the sky bar of which when we went to go there it was closed until later in the season, but this was not notified on our booking beforehand.

Location is lovely. Room was very nice. Reception staff very good.
Service was very poor in the bar and restaurant. They ran out of regular food items. A couple of times we ordered something and the staff forgot the order. Staff were not very alert.
