The Staff in the bar and restaurant completely make this venue amazing!
Check in was awful. Didn’t give me a key!
I thought this was because the lake side lodge- which has no lake view for most of us. Nobody there.

Beautiful property set in fabulous surroundings. Lots of character and spacious rooms.
Bathrooms need attention. Nothing major just bath panels repainted and a general freshen up.
No USB sockets for charging phones and no adapter plugs available at reception.
Adjoining room was very noisy until about 3am on the Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Lovely quiet location
Rooms need an update. Attention to detail let the accommodation down- no shower gel in bottle, pair of socks left in the drawer, limited milk, tea etc in the room.
