Idyllic vineyard cottages to explore Borassa.

Idyllic location; surrounded by vineyards, which can be seen from every window. The lake adds to the calm and serenity. The cottage is beautifully prepared with everything you need for a stay, including your own wine cellar! Breakfast and the BBQ is a delight showcasing the best of the regions food produce. The hosts are responsive and helpful.

Brilliant stay, excellent hosts and can't recommend highly enough.

Far exceeded expectations! Provisions were decedent and plentiful for breakfast. Premier quality local produce - eggs, bacon, bread, milk and butter. Wonderful outlook- from the lounge, a large deck overlooking the pond with ducks and other bird life, from the bedrooms - vineyards. Host Tina and Evan were excellent. Not intrusive but VERY available, organised transport, suggested local attractions and restaurants and stocked a lovely arrangement of local wines for purchase. Plus a gift of their single vineyard Shiraz!

Quality accommodation in a peaceful location.

We stayed in the beautiful Cupids Cottage. It was in a quiet, picturesque location overlooking a lake with ducks and views of the vineyards. We enjoyed taking the row boat out on the lake and sitting outside on the sun lounges enjoying a drink. Our cottage was stocked with ample provisions of tasty locally produced food and quality bathroom products. Everything we could possibly want or need was provided, even umbrellas which we were able to take with us sightseeing when it rained on our second day.

The insects outside. However insect repellent and spray was provided. This didn’t detract us from enjoying this gorgeous property and we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway, at an absolutely charming Cottage!

Our recent stay at Stonewell Cottages was absolutely amazing! The cottage itself was gorgeous, spacious with a very comfy bed and pillows. We particularly appreciated the breakfast supplies, which were spot on – especially the focus on local produce, a detail we loved, not to mention how delicious everything was! The cozy fireplace added to the charm, and it was clear that every detail had been considered, with everything we could possibly need right at our fingertips. We highly recommend Stonewell Cottages for a perfect getaway.

Serene lakeside cottage in the heart of the Barossa

We stayed in Cupid's cottage for 2 nights and it definitely deserves all the exceptional reviews it receives. Great communication from our host, Tina, before we arrived and during our stay. Beautiful serene location with plenty of bird life, we were even provided with food for the very friendly ducks. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you need to relax in front of the fire with a lovely glass of local wine. Plentiful provisions for a "cook your own breakfast", with added little delicious goodies such as a bottle of wine, cheese, port and biscuits. Unfortunately the Barossa Valley were in the midst of a terrible drought and so water levels were well down. For this reason we also didn't use the lovely spa. We pray they'll get some rain soon. We can't wait to return to Cupid's cottage and see it in all its glory - this time ensuring we stay longer. A true hidden gem.

Amazing gem for peaceful stay, but like home.

Was a home away from home. Everything thought of, so many little thoughtful touches. Was close to town for supplies & for our wine tour where they would pick us up & drop off. We got text messages about arrival plus check up ones making sure all was fine. Was just lovely. Very peaceful & we took up the BBQ pack which was enough for 2 nights. Supply for breakfast, we couldn't even finish as so much.

The property was fantastic. Right from the pre-arrival info, we were well informed of everything we needed to know for a great two night stay. When we arrived, the cottage was clean and tidy and very well stocked with breakfast provisions, local produce, items for a cheese plate and a welcome bottle of wine. The kitchen was well equiped and it even had a washing machine. The bed and pillows were super plush, and the spa bath with bath salts and candles was a lovely way to relax. The view was stunning and the added container of "breakfast for the ducks" made us smile. It was nice to see local kangaroos amongst the vineyards and hot air balloons soaring above as we woke up. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back in winter when we can utilise the indoor wood heater and the fire pit outside. Thanks to Tina for checking in on us during our stay and making it a memorable experience.

Everything about the property was amazing. The town taxi service not so great. The accommodation is only 3.5kms from the town so it is possible to walk if needed.

It was a lovely stay in a great property.

The complimentary breakfast provisions were brilliant....far more than we expected or could eat :) The complimentary port was also fantastic. the wine rack idea was great and saved us having to decide which ones to buy. Tina was very helpful in giving advice and helping us book bikes for delivery at Barossa Bikes...well worth the effort.

An anniversary weekend to remember forever,

What a fabulous place to stay. Styled beautifully yet comfortably. Bed/bedding/shower/spa 10/10… breakfast provisions were plentiful, and we were spoilt with some fabulous local complimentary products, all first class. Great communication with host. Beautiful personal touches that make for truly memorable, enjoyable stay.

A wonderful stay in paradise

Stonewell Cottages was a paradise. We stayed in Hideaway Cottage that overlooked the lake. The seating area that was right on the lake was majestic. The cottage itself was extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly want. The provisions were plentiful and delicious. Tina was most attentive, enquiring each day as to whether we required anything else. I highly recommend this property to all.

Very cute, we were provided with more than enough food for our 4 day stay, wood for the fire inside & outside was a lovely thought, coffee pods with so many varieties, the tea leaves tasted so good, we had several pots everyday. We will highly recommend this stay, was very relaxing and private.

There isn't a bad thing to say about this place, the drains were a little smelly in the bathroom, and we had a mozzie buzzing around our head of a night but nothing to complain about.
