We spent a fantastic two weeks in Martinique. The accommodation was wonderfully clean and tidy upon arrival. Our friendly host, Laurent, was most accommodating throughout our stay and always on hand if needed. The garden is superb with plenty of bird life. A tranquil location with a very short drive down the hill to the local market, supermarket, boulangerie, bars and restaurants in Le Diamant. The sketch of Le Diamant together with the guidebook of Martinique were thoughtful touches along with leaflets of places of interest. Excellent snorkelling nearby along with beautiful beaches. The views from the top of Mont Pelée in the north were definitely worth the hike. Do bring your walking boots! There are so many places to visit on the island they’re too numerous to list here. We were never bored. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Martinique and felt very comfortable on the island. Rest assured, you’ll receive a warm welcome where nothing is too much trouble. In this amazing ocean of green scattered with the pink and red of astonishing flowers of bougainvilliers and hibiscus you are welcomed by a perfect host: Marie!The room is perfect for a couple, the bathroom confortable, in front of your house, a terrace with kitchen out in the nature offers you the possibiliy to live in the middle of this amazing nature and hear only the sounds of birds, insectes, and frogs.You have also a big table in the garden and a pool to refresh in the evening, when coming back from the beach.The beach is 5 min by car or 20 min walk which is nice too, you can admire the sea from above. We spent two amazing, restfull weeks. Its the perfect house and host to chose!
