The Bedrooms were clean and tidy, if a little tired

The Ship Inn is one of the most loveliest places we have EVER stayed in, and there have been very many on our travels. Wendy and Stewart were so lovely and welcoming. They made delightful custodians of such a fabulous place. We had our own personal lounge overlooking the sea, where we were served a wonderful breakfast, cooked by Stewart and delivered warmly and welcomed by Wendy. If you ever stay in Folkstone, you would be crazy not to stay here and lose out on the best experience ever. The Ship Inn pub next door has a outstanding food also, where we had authentic home made pie, masn and greens. Also superbly cooked. You have to go there. Thank you so very much Wendy & Stewart and to all concerned. Also a special mention to Jesse at the pub who waited on us with a big, friendly smile 😃.

Lovely hosts, lovely seaside location. Decent breakfast and nice sea view from room cosy room.
Note that this isn't part of the pub and is a separate B&B in a house round the back. The breakfast could have been more filling. The furniture and decor was a little dated in the room. The hosts told us checkout was at 10am when 11am was stated on booking.com, and moved us to a different room than we'd booked. Breakfast was 7am until 9am, which was a little early for our relaxing weekend stay!
