Unbelievable value for money.

This hotel blew me away. The view from my hotel room was something else ( Room 44 ) When the guy opened the door, I thought I'd been put in the King's suite. The room was exceptional, this only cost £53 a night to stay in including breakfast. This is the reason I'd sooner take my motorcycle to Germany, rather than book a hotel in the UK. Value for money ( Take note UK tourist board ) Everything about this hotel is just amazing. I would stay here again at the drop of a hat. Sadly I only stayed here for 1 night. I'd been in Germany for 14 days, and this hotel was the best of the lot of them.

Superb

This is hotel became one of my favorites not only because of the staff and facilities but also because of the amazing, really amazing view on the nearby mountains. The hotel is not that far from Memmingem airport (~ 1 hour by car). The hotel is located nearby lake Kontsanz, Linburg city, Neuschwanstein Castle. Austria, Switzerland, Lichteinstein are very close. There are many hiking trails in the area of the hotel. If you can drive 1.5 hour in one shot you can reach Garmisch with its beautiful mountains and Zugspitze and lake Eibsee. If you are monster driver you can even reach amazing Lauterbrunnen (be ready to spent 3,5 hours in a car one way).

The location of the Hotel is out of the world. Sauna is excellent and the ruheraum overlooks the valley. The view is outstanding. Staff is excellent, the breakfast buffet exceeded our expectation.

Stellar

Each room in the hotel has a balcony that looks out on a spectacular valley. The inclusive breakfast was the best we’ve had in 2 weeks in Germany. We also had an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant. The hotel pays attention to detail: for example, fresh flowers in the lobby. Friendly reception and wait staff. And reasonably priced: both the room and dinner. Would go back!

The view is just amazing ! Short downhill walk to the center which means walking back is a bit more demanding. The views make up for it !! We were there just for one night but there are supposed to be alot of possibilities for walking/hiking/biking. Restaurant/bar closes at 22.00 but there is a self service station with softdrinks/wine/water and even draftbeer. You are suppose to write down whatever you take.

There is a restaurant but only with basic dishes, such as sandwiches, salads etc. The restaurants is only for guests. For a fancy night out, you might want to look some place else. The view, however, you will find no where else !!!

A very special location with fantastic views.

There is a lovely dining room, bar area (honesty system later on) and balcony with super views over the valley and distant mountains. It's a very easy hotel to relax in. We were warmly welcomed even though we arrived very early and the boss helped with our next booking. Responses to my email in my very bad German were quick and helpful. Do stay here for a few days. Oberstaufen is a pretty village.

Few guests eat in the restaurant in the evening where only a set menu, ordered before mid afternoon, is offered. And I don't think it is good value. It's over a km downhill to the town.

Einfach nur schön ! Ein Ort, an dem man vom ersten Moment an spürt, mit wie viel Herzblut die Gastgeberin ihr Haus führt. Jedes Detail ist mit Liebe gestaltet, alles ist sehr sauber, stimmig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Aufenthaltsräume laden zum Verweilen ein und schaffen eine warme, persönliche Atmosphäre. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon war besonders schön und sehr gepflegt. So stellt man sich echte, ehrliche Gastfreundschaft vor .

Mooi en net hotel, vriendelijk.

Het ontbijt was redelijk tot goed. kamer had een mooi uitzicht. Parkeer gelegenheid goed.

We konden niet op het bakon zitten en het raam open doen. De buurman was een roker en onder ons bij de ingang werd ook gerookt waar we last an hadden. Daardoor konden we van de geboekte kamer met uitzicht weining genieten waar we wel voor betaald hebben.

Ideales Hotel für Fahrradreisende

Gepflegtes Hotel mit einem schönen Panoramablick. Sehr großer Fahrradkeller mit vielen Steckdosen für E-Bikes. Kleine, saubere Sauna. Nettes Personal. Im Hotel kann man Abends eine Kleinigkeit essen und sich damit den Gang nach Oberstaufen sparen. Frühstück kann auf einer Terrasse mit oben erwähnten tollen Ausblick eingenommen werden.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage mit einer atemberaubender Aussicht. Zimmer sauber und ein reichhaliges Frühstück.

Es ist zwar keim Familienhotel aber trotzdem wäre es toll wenn das Hotel noch einen kleinen Spielplatz oder ein kleines Spielzimmer hätte das wäre es perfekt:)
