Again for my second extension in the Hotel Mahmoud and Asha from the reception team made my experience in the hotel unforgettable and my rating for the hotel will remain 10/10 because of them.

The staff was pleasant
We got a room on the 2nd floor and it was dreadful, outdated and stained everywhere. Aircon was set on 17c and could not be changed.
Then we got a room replaced on the 6th floor, it was much better, more recently upgraded and cleaner. But it was twin beds not a double bed.
Breakfast was basic but ok. Only instant coffee available.
After check out we had to wait for someone to go and check the room in case "we forgot something". But i am sure it was to check if we haven't broken or stolen anything. The room had an extensive list of item costs in case you break or steal something.
Definitely far from 4 stat hotel!!!
The hotel is still called Excelsior. Everything in the hotel is marked with Excelsior and not a new name. I wonder why they pretend to have changed the name...
It was cheap in December but i don't recommend it.
