Our room was located on the second floor of the castle. Although the weather was quite hot and there was no air conditioning, the room remained surprisingly comfortable. We were traveling with two children and used an extra bed. The room was quite small in size but tastefully and stylishly furnished. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. The restaurant service was fast, and the food was consistently good. The castle itself is an excellent example of a well-executed restoration. Modern additions have been integrated very thoughtfully and never feel out of place, allowing the historic atmosphere to be preserved.

The castle offers extra beds for guests, which is a useful service, especially for families. However, because there is no elevator and these beds are quite heavy to move, they appear to be stored in the hallways on the guest floors. During our stay, we often saw them placed at the end of corridors or outside guest rooms. While this is understandable from a practical perspective, it does detract from the overall atmosphere of the beautifully restored castle and makes parts of the corridors feel more like a storage area. I would suggest setting aside a dedicated storage room on each floor so that unused beds can be kept out of sight. I think this small change would further enhance the overall guest experience.

Good breakfast. Very authentic castle experience. If you drive, the road is a bit stekchy, but nothing to detract from the overall experience. The exhibits on display are also a nice touch.

The rooms are not noise-isolated, which I think it would be necessary (as we visited too many teenagers were staying overnight as well, are were very loud). There is no lift, which is to be expected given that it is quite an old castle; yet it would be nice to have a crane, a hook or something that just makes it easier to transport the heavy luggage to the upper floors (2nd, 3rd, 4th).

Beautiful castle, with amazing interior. Beautiful view and place itself. Great and super helpful staff with very tasty food.

Place is brilliant for a short period of time due to thin walls (we had an ultimate snorer as a neighbour ;)).

It was an interesting opportunity to stay in a beautiful castle. A breakfast was good. A dog is allowed to stay for an additional cost.

When we came to the hotel, there was no water in the room, because of an accident in the whole castle, but nobody has told us about the problem during check in. We had to wait to get a water in the whole building for about 2 hours. I think it was an impudence of hotel stuff not to tell the guests about this problem during the check in and payment process. A parking place is far from the hotel entrance, so it was a long and hard way to get the luggage to the room to the 3rd floor with no elevator. A room is really small and uncomfortable for 3 people. A door in the shower did not work properly. Could be cleaner.
