Las Américas - Mares

Well located, clean room. We had a very late check in, it was at a sister hotel just around the corner and the night staff were very friendly and helpful.

We only stayed one night. Room would have been a bit small for a longer stay and no tea/coffee making facilties. But a nice clean room, in a great location

Location. 1st line of the beach in the centre of town. Lots of cafes, ice cream shops, restaurants on the beach. Comfortable bed with sockets on both sides of the double bed. Extra pillows available in the wardrobe. Terrace with table and two chairs overlooking the beach. Nice bathroom with a window! Lovely shower with excellent water pressure. Garage parking at the sister hotel nearby where you check in and out.

The room was on the first floor and there wasn't a lift which was a small issue for my husband. I know you don't expect it in a 2* hotel but a small fridge is always nice to have.

Well situated right on the sea front with a pleasant small balcony. Very kind and helpful reception staff.

Very noisy indeed. People gathering around snack stalls outside and talking until the early hours. Rubbish/ recycling truck at 6 am. None of this the hotels fault but if you want a quiet night don’t ask for a sea view. Noisy aircon so we had to keep the window open. No lift in this hotel. A long flight of stairs to negotiate with your luggage.
