Villa Maia

Amazing villa that is great for families. The swimming pool and grill area are great and the house is big enough. The location is also ideal, not on a busy road (very quiet) but, just 10 minutes - beach, 15 minutes - shopping mall and 25 minutes - Lisbon. Tatiana was always available to help us.

The beds needs to be renovated to offer the comfort that this type of villa deserves. The way you need to dispose the garbage is a bit annoying.

Great villa, great pool. Looks amazing. Very clean and spacious. Private. A warm pool is the best.

The location was a litttle far from everywhere. You must have a car to get around. There was a few power cuts and the oven and microwave didn't work very well. The mattress is very springy

we were good received and the acomodation was clean,beatifull and with everything we needed to cook.the bathrooms were good clean and the swimmpool was nice and clean...so we good definetly come back.

door from the garden had no key,maybe we didnt received but was no problem for us :-)

The location was nice, 10 minute drive to nearest beach. Can't walk to the beach because of the geography of the cliff and protected forests in between.

Be aware that according to Allure Villas this is not a luxury villa. We were very disappointed. Pool dirty on arrival. Drain smells from 2 en-suites for entire week. Broken glass in the grass near the patio. A dangerous broken plug left on a lamp. Tap not secured properly in newest bathroom, shower overflowed due to blocked shower trap. Had to complain before an ironing board was provided. Windows wouldn’t open. Light bulbs not replaced. Only 1 set of keys provided, we were told afterwards that we should have asked for a second set, they should have been provided as standard along with many of our other comments regarding equipment. Some of the beds were noisy and uncomfortable and the sofas needed replacing. Also had to ask for scissors, more crockery and cutlery, towel rail, bowls for cooking, oven gloves, handle on wardrobe door to be fixed (it wasn’t). Dead plants around. Some old furniture left at the end of the drive. Some of these items were sorted out, however, we were not, in our opinion offered a fair level of compensation for the number of things which should have been there, checked etc. before we arrived. We were told we should have continued to ask for everything we thought was lacking, we had our son’s wedding to attend and did not have the time to keep going back to them, None of our complaints were unreasonable and we had been really looking forward to staying in our “luxury” villa for months beforehand. We hope that our unsatisfactory stay and level of complaints will make sure that the villa is brought up to the standard that anyone would expect from the pictures on the website and the price of the villa.
