Waterfront Homes on Lake Travis

Great property. This is our second time to stay here (more detailed review submitted June/July 2022) and we’ve enjoyed it for our 8 adults and 6 kids group. Man cave is perfect to hang out in all day, you don’t really use the other homes much other than to sleep. Enjoyed the pool and the lake. Great times!

This property is so unique and was so cool! the pictures really do not even do it justice!! The man cave is massive and looks/feels like a Texas dive bar. We loved it and had such a great time. Management was very responsive and great to work with.

We really enjoyed our stay! The space was clean and extremely spacious for a large group (3 separate houses). The layout of the property gave a central social area with the man cave and pool and then private and quiet sleeping quarters. The pool was beautiful and everything was bigger than pictures could do justice. I would highly recommend this property and would stay again!

The pictures of the man cave don't do it justice. It's the perfect spot for a large group to spend an extended amount of time. We also loved the dock with the swing, the pool, and the extensive sleeping quarters. Communication with the host was great and we always felt at home.

Great property to stay at

Unique spot that is great for large gathering of friends. Man cave and Rope swings off the dock were both huge hits!

My friends and I had a great time at this property for our staycation on the lake. The boat dock was exactly what we needed for our wake boat and jet skis. All the amenities and games kept us entertained when we weren't on the water. The place was clean and the property manager was easy going and communicative.

This property was hands down one of the nicest VRBO's I have ever stayed in. I booked it for my wife's birthday weekend and it was everything we needed for a large group of friends and family to enjoy. Plenty of space for cooking inside and out. Not to mention having access to a world class pool AND the lake. There was something for everyone! 10/10 all around.

We had a long weekend family gathering at this property, and loved it. We’ll be back again for sure. 2 adults in their 70’s, 6 adults in their 40’s, and 6 kids ranging from 7-15. Plenty of room for everyone, and accommodating for all ages. The man cave was plenty big to keep everyone centralized, but also give everyone room inside for multiple activities without stepping over each other. It was 104 degrees outside, and the man cave kept us cool with AC units and plenty of fans. It had a full kitchen, an ice machine, a drink fridge, and two full size fridge/freezer combos. Plus, it has a full bathroom so that you didn’t have to go to the main house or the guest house. The pool is huge with a volleyball area as well as a deep end for the kids on the diving board. The two story lake dock was great as well, with plenty to do. We brought a paddle board. We didn’t rent a boat, and I don’t think you have to have one there to have fun. I would encourage you to bring life jackets and floats to just lounge in the lake. The lake isn’t dangerous, but kids in life jackets is always a good idea. We loved jumping off the boat dock into the water. 15 feet or so from the top, and plenty deep in the water even as low as it is right now. The main house and guest house are fine. Plenty of beds. Aside from showering and sleeping, you won’t spend any time in those homes as you’ll want to be in the man cave, in the pool, or at the lake. Property manager was great and very responsive and helpful to the couple routine, minor questions we had. Looking forward to coming again!

The pictures and the description don’t even do it justice. It was perfect for our group. The property is massive and more than enough room for 14 people. The man cave and pool were awesome. The dock and rope swing were awesome. Can’t recommend this place enough for any group. Good communication.

This property was amazing and had everything we needed for adults and toddlers to hang together! The pool and lake were incredible! The man cave is the only place to cook, but worked great and was where we wanted to be. They went above and beyond and brought a blender to the house as well. Such a great place and host!

even better than the pictures, this home is perfect for a friends or family reunion - hosts are friendly and clear communicators. Would love to return soon!

We have a daughter and her husband, their two children who live in Lago Vista, and 8 more family members from California rented this house and everyone had a blast!

The dock is so much better than the pictures. It is huge and has a ton of shade. The pool is also a lot bigger than it appears in the photos. The man cave is huge and offered a great place for our group of 16 to hang out with plenty of room to spare. The only downside was we felt a little disconnected with the three separate buildings. I broke my ankle a month before the trip and was able to get around the property but there are a ton is stairs and it is pretty spread out.

Host was spectacularly responsive to all requests, questions, etc. Cant imagine a cooler property.

The property is much better and much more grand than the photos. It is a brilliant idea to have the center house for all of the interacting. We brought a boat and had some jet skis delivered. We had a blast, and the place served everyone very well. I would definitely rent it again.

Truly an unique property with three structures and a pool that was amazing. Lake Travis at your disposal with a killer deck above the boat docks to chill and jump in the water.The highlight was the Man Cave with pool table, foosball, TV and bar-like atmosphere. Space to spread out and chill. For 6 forty-fifty year old guys to hang and tell tall tales it was perfect. The property honestly could accommodate 12 guys comfortably or two -three families with kids easily.Everything was there for BBQ grilling, cooking and eating. Ice Machine was key! Fridges galore to keep drinks and food chilled. Lots of space if you needed to do a zoom call or get some quiet time.We rented a boat for the day and it was convenient to have a huge dock to tie up to load supplies. The Rental place was gracious enough to pick us up, do the paperwork and drop us off at the end of the day right on the dock to save an hour drive around the lake. The lake itself is truly unique and great for water skiing, sight seeing and anchoring / swimming.My wife and I have two VRBO properties and we have been to over a dozen properties from Alaska to Honduras to Italy to Utah and this rates near the top. I love the fact that you can see touches that signals that the owners love and use their property. The only drawback is the price. At $2k a night it is on the pricier side of what we have rented in the past but if you can swing it a true gem.Two observations and things to know:1) We went when the lake water level was fairly low. The pitch on the stairs to the dock was a tad tricky and it required full concentration to get to the dock. If the water was higher this would not be an issue but something to consider if you have young kids.2) Stores, restaurants, activities are not around the corner so plan your shopping accordingly. Good rib joints are 45 minutes away. Grocery store was 40 minutes RT. So this is a destination VRBO where you want to make sure you do your shopping and planning ahead of time. We stayed put and enjoyed the property and used the 5 days to just hang out with each other which was perfect. But just be aware of the proximity if you wanted to venture out.One final note. Don who checked us in and who was our contact was a champ. He lives a few blocks away so if you needed anything he was uber responsive! Really gave us peace of mind if you needed help with anything. Thanks Don!

Great property for a group getaway. The Man cave/pool area is one of the best parts of the property. We enjoyed all aspects of the property from sunrise on the boat dock to sun set playing volleyball in the pool.

We enjoyed so much about our weekend, the spacious property and various living spaces were a joy. The ManCave was even more than we expected from the pics... such a great pool house for the family to gather in.

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway! The entire property was absolutely fantastic for our large group. Lots of space with the two houses and an awesome Man Cave in between for family gatherings. We enjoyed the boat dock/swings, the large pool, and relaxing in the hot tub. Everything was clean and fully stocked with anything you would need. The owners are great and very responsive!

Really beautiful property, well maintained. It had something for everyone and having the man cave as the center for all the meals and games was great.

Had a great time with the family, twelve of us. Spacious and allowed us to have our peace and quiet, as well as the fun times at the lake, pool, and man cave. One recommended improvement is to have king size beds in a couple of the bed rooms.

Great property.

This property was perfect for our family celebration of our son's graduation! Lots of room for everyone in the two houses, and the "Man Cave" couldn't have been more perfect for us to all gather and cook together. The pool is huge, the boat house is amazing, and the entire property is just beautiful! Everything was clean and fully stocked with anything you'd need. We never left once we checked in, and can't wait to come back!!

The entire property was absolutely fantastic for our large group. The Man Cave is more than we expected. It worked out perfect for our gathering for meals, watching sports, etc. We did not know it had AC, but this was nice with 100+ degree weather. Thank you for a nice property!

Thank you Mark and Tami for opening up your beautiful vacation rental home to us. Everything we experienced was nothing short of amazing. The spacious sleeping arrangements made accommodating our big party great. The views of the lake were both beautiful and relaxing. Your two story doc was so awesome and we truly enjoyed every minute of it from grilling to jumping in the refreshing lake. We also had so much fun in your larger than life pool!!!
