Would of been good if they didn’t steal our deposit

These guys over charged us 500 euros and took our auto debit from my friends card even after we cleaned the apartment and left it in good condition, then they don’t answer the phone for months when you call them - do not stay here!!

The location was the strongest point of the property.

We checked into an apartment that smelled like pizza and couldn’t get the smell out for half the trip. There is no house keeping, no bathroom cleaning, no towel changes. There is a sign to do your own dishes in the lobby before check out. This isn’t clear on the website and it def doesn’t deserve a 5 star rating. It’s a 4 star accomodation. The spa was small and towels littered the place.

Modern, ideally located and comfy mountain apartment

The apartment is spacious, especially for standards in the French Alps. It is very well equipped overall and perfectly located next to the ski slope. It has a very good ski gear drying room, and a nice spa area. It's also well equipped with wardrobe space.

For the apartment to be perfect, it should be equipped with a few charging stations for electric cars (there is none). Kitchen gloves or something equivalent would have been useful.

The location of the property is perfect, you can ski in and ski out. Good Ski room.

There were many services missing that I would have expected from a five star accommodation. These are family orientated apartments and are well equipped except the units do not have a washing machine, which at a ski resort and travelling with children I find ridiculous, what is more, the property charges a ridiculous amount for a very small quantity of washing. There were no ice-cube making facilities and when requested to reception we were asked to go up and collect ourselves. The room was accessed by taking two elevators and a long corridor which made it difficult and sometimes slow at peak times. We asked reception for one change of sheets due to an accident and got told there was an extra charge, this is not acceptable at a five star property paying what we paid and staying for a week, and due to the lack of a washing machine we could not wash them ourselves. The swimming pool and SPA was overrun by children everyday who were jumping in the pool, screaming and making it unpractical for couples or single guests, even though there was meant to be timetable for kids it was not enforced. The TVs in the apartments were old and unable to watch Netflix or Prime, neither could you connect them to your laptops or Ipads, all but a few channels were in French and the English/Spanish channels did not work due to bad reception. The billiard table and baby foot tables costs 1/2€ a go instead of being free. And the only bar (they do not even have a premises on site for buying food) only served wine or beer, they do not serve any spirits or mixed drinks which makes its classification as a bar quite comical. There were no complimentary coffee or teas in the room as all of this was sold to you at reception for desorbitant prices. Again, poor for a five star establishment. I expected a lot more of the facilities for the price we paid for a weeks accommodation.

The need for a taxi (prior to the first red bus) in the early hours of the morning is a little expensive. The difference between the two Red bus routes from the nearby circle can lead to major problems and needs to be explained better by Val-d'Isère. Different colours maybe.

Ski in and out literally and view from our apartment was great. Also very clean and comfortable.

if I were being picky I’d say pillows were too hard, so we went out and purchased some of our own . Used towels in spa area weren’t cleared away until end of day so we’re everywhere in swimming pool area. Didn’t look that nice.

If you're looking for an awesome ski vacation, look no further than Chaletz Izia! First and foremost, the manager and staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The staff was attentive to our every need, ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The manager, in particular, was extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions we had about the facilities or the surrounding area. The equipment in the ski rental was in good condition, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to rent everything we needed on site, which made our ski days even more convenient. We recommend to book in advance. As for the facilities, we stayed in a beautiful and cosy apartment with a fireplace and large balcony. The four bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and linens that ensured a great night's sleep. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of Chaletz Izia was its location. Situated right on the slopes, we were able to ski in and out with ease. The views from our apartment were breathtaking, and we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the stunning scenery of Val D'Isere. Overall, I cannot recommend Chaletz Izia enough. From the incredible manager and staff to the exceptional facilities and ski rental service, they truly have it all.

I didn't like that we were the ones that had to handle rubbish and that there was not a bin in the building or outside it. We were not warned about that at the check-in. Moreover, my sheets were stained.
