Good and comfortable place!

Great choice when going to Cholula. If you have kids, the pool is great and has warm water. Restaurant buffet is good and not expensive. A comfortable place to eat and spend time with friends and family.

Horrible

The pool

Horrible rooms. Shower and bathroom with no windows and only a tiny window in the room back or with no airflow. We were so hot and the room felt stuffy, it was so hard to be in the room. Plus, plus shower only has a curtain (no door), so the steam and heat would get into the room. Horrible!!!

Attractive but busy hotel with pool and courtyard

We had a lovely stay here. The hotel is very attractive and the courtyard layout offers cool, shaded areas to sit. The location is good, bars and restaurants nearby and close to the pyramids, museum and park. 20 minutes walk to the main square of Cholula and very easy to get Ubers. Our room did not have air conditioning but was naturally cool despite the heat outside. The room was simple but comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and restaurant and had some good breakfasts/drinks/snacks. The staff were helpful and helped us to do laundry but this was more expensive than we expected. WiFi worked well. We were mostly out during the day.

Expensive laundry service, price not quoted in advance. No air conditioning though we didn't need this. During our visit the hotel was very busy, the rooms overlook the pool and restaurant and so it was very noisy with children playing in the pool from first thing in the morning until the evening. The environment was not very relaxing. Very small TV but we didn't need this.

Perfect place for studying the pyramid!!!

Beautiful hotel right near the Cholula pyramid. The location is perfect for archeological exploration. The staff was super excellent. The place is the cleanest I've ever seen anywhere. The rooms are beautiful. The food is fantastic. No tricks at all just solid value and a stunning beautiful stay!

The pool doesn't have a hot tub which would have been fun for relaxing after a long day of exploring. That's the only improvement I could think of. Also, the wifi is intermittent inside the room so you need to be creative where you use your phone to get full strength signal. The laptop was able to connect fine, however.

Ideal for us as we were visiting our daughter in Cholula.Just a short walk to the centre and the Pyramid. Didn’t have breakfast but the coffee was good.

Hotel was clean, food was disappointing, beds/pillows were uncomfortable.

We have stayed at the Villas Arqueologicas on visits for nearly 40 years. The staff is friendly and the facilities are clean and well maintained.

Breakfast was okay. I ate traditional Mexican food (enchiladas), which was good. Dinners were very disappointing. Twice I ordered expensive steaks and both times they were nearly inedible: a boiled T-bone that was only 1/4 inch thick, and a rib eye (1/2 inch) that was so salty that I could only eat about half. My wife ordered the same fish dish twice: once was good and the other was too salty to eat. The two didn't look like the same dish. It was a busy weekend, with numerous family groups. It was annoying, however, that these groups were allowed to party in the common courtyard and even hallway in front of other guest's rooms, with loud music into the early morning. We are used to the many bells and rockets, but the loud music and festivities should have been controlled after a reasonable hour (11 pm?).

Very nice place

The location and the installations were excellent. The rooms (in general also the whole hotel) are vintage-like, resembles a traditional Mexican hacienda. I didn't have the opportunity to taste the food, but I have hear from trustable sources that is also very good!

There was an event on the ball-room, the music is almost imperceptible from the room I was in, but it might be noisy in other rooms. Also, the guests that stayed in the hotel after the party ended (01:00 am approximately) could be a little noisy.

Amazing!

This place is the perfect spot if you like the countryside feeling. It was perfect to relax and to have friends joining us for breakfast. My favorite part was the pool, the gardens and the view. Staff at the restaurant were friendly and willing to help at any time.

El muchacho en recepción nos dijo el número de habitación y lo anotó en la hoja de registro,pero la llave no abrió. Tuvimos que checar el número en la llave y vimos que era incorrecta. Al reclamarle ni siquiera se disculpó por el tiempo que nos hizo perder.

El lugar es colonial, agradable y puedes llegar caminando a las ruinas o al centro de Cholula

Un buen lugar para quedarse en Cholula

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, las personas que nos atendieron siempre fueron muy amables y la comida del bufet es bastante buena. El ambiente es muy tranquilo, ideal para ir en familia.

Las camas son bastante incómodas y las almohadas también. Creo que también estaría cool que las habitaciones tuvieran un frigobar, siempre hace falta meter algo a enfriar.
