very convenient for Trogir and Split airport

Clear communication regarding entry to accommodation as not manned. Clean comfortable room with good bed. We were only there 1 night prior to going to airport -very convenient for this as short walk to airport bus stop and then 10 minutes on bus to airport. Trogir is tiny and beautiful and a short walk from the accommodation. Recommend for a short stay.

Stunning Location

The view of Kamerlengo Castle and the Trogir marina from our room was absolutely breathtaking. We couldn’t believe how close we were to everything...just minutes from the shops, the marina, and even the best burek bakery (only a one-minute walk away!). Check-in was quick and effortless which made our arrival completely stress-free.

That we didn't book for a longer stay. What a lovely place.

Very disrespectful people and the location it’s like a hostel.

The location it’s ok if you need to charter a boat in the marina and to have a short distance to carry your luggage.

You are in a house without elevator, with narrow metalic outside staircase where they put the sheets to dry outside. If you have heavy luggages, go to the gim before coming here. Be very careful, if you don’t clear the room, 10 minutes before the check out, they call you and they are telling you that they throw your luggage in the street!! When we arrived in the room, they already took the sheets out, entered in the room, they didn’t closed the door, our luggage’s were open and accessible to everyone. Don’t go there! They are very disrespectful and this is less than a hostel!

Short and sweet stay, with a very fair price. Would book again if needed.

Room was available for check in early (12 noon). Less than 10 minute walk to centre of Trogir. Located 7min walk from where you dock on the marina.

No elevator so had to carry suitcases up two sets of stairs. No secure luggage storage room ( we had to leave our boat in the marina at 9am and asked to leave our bags in the property until our room was ready , we had to leave them in an open hallway on the first floor which didn’t feel overly secure to us , but our bags were left untouched and our room became available at an early time of 12 noon).

We very much enjoyed Trogir & our stay at Domus Maritima

Room very comfortable, bathroom excellent. Location was excellent as was Restaurant below,staff & food excellent.

A fridge would have been a great addition as we were on a road trip.But my fault for not checking facilities list. Parking was indicated as €10 per day in our booking confirmation and it turned out to be €15per day. Luggage stand would have been very useful but room much smaller than we had expected from photographs.

Nice location very close to Split Airport. Overlooking the Marina with view of the old city of Trogir and a 15th century castle. Short walk to Trogir old town which was amazing. Similar to Split & Dubrovnik but smaller and less crowded.

Charming but challenging.

The room was charming and the location right by the Trogir marina was lovely.

There was no reception desk. Booking.com should’ve clarified that there would not be a reception. I would not have necessarily booked the hotel if I had known this.

Definitely recommend for stay to Trogir if you want old town access

The closeness to the old town of Trogir was great, a 10 minute walk and you’re over the bridge to the old town. The rooms are very well appointed & I just love the decor. The showers are amazing. The self check in and key less rooms was a first for me but worked well.

A little strange not having reception to go to if there are any issues ( for us, an unwell child) but otherwise it’s fine.

Very comfortable overnight stay, great value!

Location was great - a short walk into the old town along the waterfront. We were glad not to be in the heart of the tourist area. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff around the hotel area and restaurant were friendly and welcoming.

Some trouble with online check-in. I had booked two rooms, difficult to enter information on all guests with certainty. Although my partner and I had been together for 4 years, we are still uncomfortable with see through/glass bathroom doors (room 8)..

A place of mixed feelings

The lounge/restaurant has a stunning view on Trogir and it's decorated beautifully. I'm really sorry that it only looks good.

The room we got had nothing to do with the pictures on the listing. It didn't matter a lot since we stayed for 1 night only, but if we stayed more nights, I wouldn't be so pleased. The absolute disappointment was the dinner we had there. I ate the caesar salad that consisted of half a tomato, a few leaves of green mixed salad and some hand-shredded chicken breasts. My husband had a burger in which the bread was hard and dry, while my daughter's pasta wasn't even fully cooked. With 1 drink per person, it costed us over 50 euro, which is really too much for the poor service they give. It's a pity since I really liked how this place looked. One more thing that I didn't like are very loud children sitting with the hosts under the room window/balcony and screaming while playing in the lounge until midnight. I know children have to play, but if you know your guests sleep in rooms upstairs, you can at least sit on the other part of the terrace so they don't bother anyone.

Happy with room size, location & shower. Decor & steep stairs let the place down a little.

Great location, view out on the harbour was lovely. Bed was comfy and shower powerful. Towels and shampoo also provided.

Room decor wasn't really to our taste - be aware that the sea view room doesn't match the property photos on the main booking.com listing (although you can view them separately by clicking the link next to room description)

Staff very friendly and helpful. Central location, yet still peaceful. Hotel owner nearly always present in restaurant and looked after needs of hotel guests.

Stairs may be an issue for some. Be aware that Saturday in the bar/restaurant can be very busy as yacht change over day in the marina.

Lovely stay at Domus Maritima

Fantastic location just outside the old town of Trogir but with a great view of the riva over the marina. Easy walk into town but still fairly quiet in the evening. Lovely garden bar for lounging with a drink or a bite to eat. Really friendly staff. We were met with a drink while we waited for our room to be made ready. No TV in our room which we see as a plus.

Room was a little small, but we weren't there for the room. Others might think no TV is a drawback.

Great hotel, great people

Fantastic location just outside Trogir old town. Convenient to the ACI marina and relatively easy to access by cab. Delicious breakfast, tasty cocktails in a charming garden bar with quirky art. Family run with fun, capable staff. And they welcome you with a shot.

Nothing really, fabulous all around. Our room didn't have a television, but we saw that as a plus. Some might not.

The location is perfect. Beautiful view. Facilities are ok.

The staff is not so friendly. The room was clean when we arrived but the daily cleaning was not done well. Our early check-in was confirmed in advance but finally it was not feasible. The bar (where you do breakfast too) was highly overpriced.

Proximity to the Trogir Marina a big plus!

This was an ideal location for us as we split our time between a boat moored at the Trogir Marina and the hotel. The cool, air conditioned room was a welcome respite for the hot July sun. It was a comfortable, quiet room, roomy enough to shared with my adult son. It was nice having access to the attached restaurant.
