Great option for the location.

The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, rooms are small but good, smart use of the space. The bed is comfortable and although we had a room facing the street it was not noisy. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

A bit overrated.

Modern stylish rooms

Cleaning could be done better. Poor breakfast. Being a budget friendly hotel, the prices of beverages and snacks at the lobby are 4x more than at a nearby grocery store or supermarket (e.g.: 1L plane water brand: Spa Rein, price €5, whereas the prices in the local grocery store is in between €1,60-1,80, yet in the supermarket only €1,15 Ridiculous

Smaller rooms with style

I had stayed in this hotel once before when it was Yup, and I enjoyed my stay as much now as I did then. The standard room is small but not cramped for me as a solo traveler, and I think it's really stylish in terms of layout and decoration. I had a very comfortable sleep here. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and accommodating. One noticed I was getting ready to brave the rain and offered an umbrella, which was so attentive! Not far from the city center or the blue Boulevard in terms of location, the latter of which is extremely useful because it has a large paid parking lot, only a 10 minute walk away at most. I would consider staying here again on my next visit to hasselt!

Nothing i truly disliked, i had a very positive experience. Breakfast was good but I was missing some fresh fruit, there were whole fruits like apples but some fruit salad to go with the yoghurt or granola would complete the spread in my opinion.

Great and simple place to stay.

Most of the staff was really welcoming and helpful; going the extra mile for an event we were attending. Room was clean and practical. Had a great stay and would 100% recommend if you're just looking for a practical place to stay (as opposed to some place lush and luxurious.

Shower cabin was on the smaller size, the floor next to the shower pooled water when showering. Wasn't too bad but certainly remarkable.

No toilet door?!

Great location for getting around Hasselt and nice bar opposite, good air con, staff were nice, nice decor touches, lift to all floors, good TV, quite quiet place.

NO TOILET DOOR?!?!?! That just isn’t ok. A curtain is not acceptable. Very unhappy about that and if we were staying longer we would have moved or cancelled, but it was a short stay for a wedding so we were mostly out, or used the toilets in the lobby (4 floors down). Other than this, the window had poorly stuck blackout plastic on it instead of a blind or curtain. There were no nightlights, and plugs only on one side of bed. The bed was against the wall not central as is normal. The shower flooded onto the bathroom floor. There was just one tiny bin which filled immediately with having a baby in nappies. Very expensive considering and not what we would expect of an Ibis brand hotel.

Recommended for solo travellers on a budget

The close proximity to the city center make it a nice place to explore Hasselt. The room was a good value for a solo traveler as well. The staff was friendly enough to park my bike within the hotel in a safe place.

There was some public music going in front of the hotel, and even with the window closed, it could still be heard quite well, better sound isolation of the room would be great. The door of the shower had also some minor gaps, but enough to make a puddle in front of the shower that needs to evaporate, as there is no drain there.

Amazing, will definitely stay again.

-Well not speaking any French at all and having a wonderful receptionist via phone and at desk communicating extremely well was a delight and to add she presented me with a glass of bubbly, which was definitely needed after the long trip from from London.

Well my room was terribly cold, so had to make an exchange with my son, so I do feel the temperature thermat should be flexible for everyone.

The location is very central. Very fast check in and check out.I stayed in a single room(cabine) which was comfortable with basic amenities. The single bed was bigger than expected.

In the morning the warm water of the shower didn’t get hot enough which was really annoying.

value for money in a great cosy hotel

it’s probably the best value for money I’ve had in years. I really liked the vibe of the hotel, interior and polite staff. The bed was better than mine at home. Absolutely recommend!
