We liked the food, the staff, the activities for kids and the proximity to the beach. Is the 3rd year that we return to the location because of these things.
The only thing I do not like are the beds, they are to soft and also they move very quickly and you can easily fall between the double beds because they are not linked together. My daughter fell in the middle of the night between the beds. Nothing happened, but it's not nice

Having to queue for a rooftop bed in the morning. Poolside beds were not comfortable.

We liked Costa Adeje. Location was good. Bus stop outside hotel with good clean buses. Rooftop bar was underused and lovely - maybe separate operation to hotel?
Think we misunderstood. Booked a hotel to be near friends. Turned out it's a "package holiday" hotel. Very overfull!! Long queues for food. Acres of bland cheap food. Staff treat you like you're trying to nick everything. Charge for key for room safe. Beds were hard. Sofa was uncomfortable. Bedding was thin. Room service erratic. Garden suite looked over road and drains. Floor tiles broken. Cheap shampoo. Meagre shower flow.
