Novotel Cairo Airport

Location is quite handy. Shuttle scheduled every 30min and available upon sending a whatsapp message to front desk. Beds are comfortable with several pillow options. Food is good. Gym is very, very functional. Assuming you're into sun, the pool is wonderful.

It was stressful, intimidating, exhausting, to deal with staff. On arrival, there was a heated argument between a guest and the front desk manager (not the front desk clerk but the manager himself). I had to argue because my camera was kept in their own storage for unknown reasons (even the person at the hotel storage space wondered why they requested that). A waiter denied service on a table outside the pool area (after the manager had told me I could have dinner at that spot). Only with seeing tipping money do people seem to get things done. Having said all that, I had a few of those experiences throughout Egypt (sauf at a couple of fantastic hotels), so I don't think it's an issue particularly of this hotel, other than not being able to apply world-class customer experience service standards.

Cleanliness

The wardrobe door was not adequately fixed it almost fell on my 2 year old son

I used the valet service to be met at the airport after 32 hours of flight. It was excellent, quickly assisted me through immigration and bag retrieval, delivered to the very close by hotel. The room was well priced and the breakfast excellent with plenty of vegetarian options. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Staff Italian food restaurant

No available enough elevators to allow access to my room. Air conditioner wasn’t working well so i stayed in a humid hot air I saw flies & cockroach Parking was opened to the heat of the sun There was no terrace in the room The bed wasn’t comfort
