Love the views and area.
We were there when it was very hot. One fan for family of 4 not enough as there is no air con. If your room is over looking the road it is very noisy and if you are departing early for excursions be mindful breakfast is only between 8 and 9am. We had to forgo breakfast.

Has to be one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. As we were well aware beforehand there is no air-conditioning in the rooms, but the fan provided was adequate despite it being very hot outside. It's just a short walk to the elevator accessing the beach and small port area below. The view from our room out over Naples bay was stunning. Breakfast was basic, but plenty of it. The convent is so well kept and the gardens are beautiful. The sisters were very welcoming and friendly. A great experience!
It is a bit of a walk to the town centre, especially in the Summer heat, but mostly flat. A minor inconvenience really.

Most staff members are nice and welcoming but I also had a negative experience right during check-in. The hotel is in great location - 5min walk from the elevator that takes you up/down to the local beach for 1 euro/ride/person, 10min walk from local supermarket, 20min walk to "Piano" train station where you can catch a train going to Sorrento and easily explore Amalfi coast. Room looked clean, towels and toiletries were provided, bedsheet The garden overlooking the local port and beach is spectacular, it is evident they take a very good care of it. There is a small chapel in the hotel for those who want to pray. There is a curfew at 23.30 so you need to be back before that time as the place closes (during the day, you need to ring the bell to get in). As a solo female, I felt quite safe with all these rules, however you always need to watch the time and that is something most do not want to do on vacation.
I directly got in touch with two sisters (unfortunately I do not know their names) and they were like day and night - Indian one was very nice, always talkative and caring, while the black one who checked me in was super rude, cold and making faces when my online payment did not work and I wanted to pay by card, honestly I wanted to leave at that stage as the attitude towards a customer was awful. Wi-fi probably does not reach my room properly so it did not work. Showers need some serious renovation. I was aware that there was no A/C prior to booking my stay, but the experience itself was truly horrendous (I had a fan on nonstop but barely got any sleep because of the heat). Breakfast is super basic and always the same, you will get sick of it quickly if you stay longer - 90% is just sweets and/or white bread. I wanted to buy my own food but there is not even a small fridge in the room. Sidewalks are non-existent here so you need to be very very careful when walking on the road as Italians drive like maniacs and the hotel is situated right behind a sharp turn. You need to leave your key at the reception every time you leave - I find this very strange and did not like this rule at all. This is a good budget option but you pay the price in another way, at least in high season. I would not stay again, especially in summer.
