It was okay for the night but I don’t think it’s worth the money. It needs an urgent make over and someone to take care

The beds were comfortable and the staff was nice and I like how you can fully open the window.

It smelled like a sewer all the time (from the bathroom) so you can barely even go use it without gagging . And no matter how quiet you try to be , everything can be heard .

Great Location

The location is perfect, the value for money is good too

The beds. Getting a basic room with a supposed double bed turned out to be two singles with mattresses that hung over the edges, pushed together. So easy to fall out of the bed due to the mattress hanging over by a good few inches

I liked being here, but...

I liked the interior outside of the rooms. It has a vintage feel to it that i don't see much anymore in hotels. Location was also very nice within the town. The restaurant offered a wide range and tasty selection of food. If they can clean their leather chairs a bit then i recommend dining here highly.

I felt that the rooms felt a little less well kept. My problem beeing that the walls and wall decorations had these red dried splatters that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Bed was also a little stiff. The coffee machine was not setup properly and thus didn't give us any coffee and the water cooker couldn't hold the on-button on, which meant you would have to manually hold the button down for it to work. The chairs in the dining area have this leather that gets on clothes. Two of my own shirts had brown stains which means that the chairs are not properly cleaned. I want to recommend it especially for it being close to Braband's leisure facilities, but they need to do a bit better on making sure things are clean and working.

Has no climate control in the rooms, just a ceilling fan and a portable one. A little bit outdated, but ok for the price.

Rooms are small, cheap, and efficient.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Parking was convenient and affordable. Nespresso coffee machines and pods in each room are a nice/welcome touch.

Staff could have been friendlier. Also, the doors to each room close very hard and create a tremendous bang each time they shut. You need to sleep with earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

The staff was rude and they did not give me the room i ordered via booking. They let me stay in a room with no air conditioning and nithing was mentions on the booking i made about this issue. They wanted me to pay 20 euro extra to change a room i had already paid via booking. We were tired and wanted to rest and it was late but nobody cared... Definitely will neve be back at that hotel!

Hotel could be ok but no air conditioning with this temperature is really an issue

The hotel is placed in the city centre but it is easy to be found and it offers its own parking at a reasonable cost (€ 2,0 approx). The room are not large but essentials. It has its own restaurant which offers some nice options (Italian dishes, burgers, soups...) plus a good selections of drinks.

Wifi was not strong, cleaning could be improved. The biggest issue is that the hotel is old and the room had no air conditioning: it is equipped with a column fan that it is not cooling but just "moving" the air and makes noise. The room temperature was totally horrible... it was impossible to sleep as the heat was too much.

Pfff

Hotel marked 4 stars whereas I give it 1 star for: Very confusing heating prevented us from sleeping + Cold and haughty staff: receptionist on Saturday noon 31/12/22 ruined our end-of-year stay for us: Passage forced to a Deluxe room to be able to accommodate a baby (+25€, unheard of) + request supplement of 10€ for an extra bed (while the mail booking confirms that it is free without supplement) and when we ask explanations, she reacts nastily. The icing on the cake, she tells us coldly that no access is possible in the evening to the hotel restaurant because everything is reserved (A restaurant manager told us the exact opposite). It's fine to seek to maximize profit on New Year's Day, but not by being violent and haughty towards customers!

Room, it had a walk in shower which what I like but the bathroom is very very small, I asked for room with balcony but didn’t get one ? Other rooms I have stayed in before had a balcony !! Plus the bed was not as comfortable as the other rooms I have stayed in previously!!

A large village hotel that needs some renewal

This is an old village hotel that has expanded over the years. It's a huge building for a small village, built in an unattractive way. Rooms are small but not uncomfortable and clean. Reception was kind, although not super efficient. Breakfast was excellent. You have to go and get your breakfast in a room and then walk back to the restaurant.

We had a room at the second floor, below the roof, which was too hot. Opening the window without mosquito screen was no option. The place needs renewal. Noice levels at ground floor level are very high and the place smells of smoke, probably due to cigarette smoke getting in from the terrace and from people smoking in their rooms.
