A very relaxing holiday in very pleasing surrondings

The room was exceptional, the breakfasts were by far the best we have had in a number of years and trips on the continent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Car parking was very easy and with only a 10 minute walk to the centre of the town was very convenient.

There was nothing to dislike.

A decent hotel

The staff were really friendly. Our room was very comfortable, the bed was huge. The spa and sauna was lovely and good value for money.

The coffee machine in our room didn't heat the water enough to make a nice hot coffee. I think a regular kettle would be better. The fitness room could do with a full length mirror.

Comfortable if you book better quality rooms

Stayed at this hotel previously so knew what we were getting but the rooms we booked had been refurbished so it went up a level In our view rooms big and comfortable we had a suite and a delux room Free safe onsite parking

Breakfast not the best for UK guests no toaster, asked staff if they could toast us some bread but refused.

Comfortable relaxing atmosphere, located short walk between old town and beach promenade

The bar was closed on one even very early , not what you would expect the standard have changed than when staying in the past

Disappointing having previously visited for work, brought my partner this time and the hotel noise spoilt the stay.

Good location

No air-con and loud construction noise during the day. Staff were uninterested and unhelpful when we asked about moving to a room further from the noise.

Better than the reviews suggested

I was a bit worried as the hotel has had some poor reviews but I found them overdone. OK the bathroom could do with updating and there was a bit of noise from the plumbing, but it was a good sized room with a view over the water. It was just a ten minute walk into town and all the restaurants if you did not fancy eating at the hotel.

The location is very convenient, nice walk to the city centre, convenient big free parking in front, coffee in the room, front desk 24/7

The hotel looks very clean until you look under the beds, in the wardrobe, or in places that are a little hidden from the first sight. As you enter there's a little peculiar smell, kind of unusual for a wellness hotel (maybe it was temporary?) With a proper clean-up and a little renovation, the hotel could score much higher. But overall it was ok and we would stay there again, at least to check how things have evolved :)

Over priced and underwhelmed.

Most off the staff very friendly. The bed was comfortable. The location was good I wish I could give more positive remarks but I can not.

The Hotel charged 14 Euro to use the pool and made you rent a towel for 6 Euro. As a guest I don't expect to be charged. They were chronically under staffed. One member of staff shouted at my wife at breakfast - totally unacceptable. The standard of room cleaning was terrible. The hotel need to be refurbished, the bedrooms were poor.

The bed sheets were not changed during my stay there. I stayed 3 nights and not once were they changed. I accidentally spilled some liquid on them and it showed and they just tidied the bed not change them.

Good location, so if you need a place to crash it's a good hotel.

The location is good, almost in the center, a good place to walk around and explore Bergen op Zoom. Breakfast is the standard one that you get in all Fletcher Hotels.

The room décor is a bit old, and needs a change. There was poor ventilation, especially when you open a closed room. The bathroom tiles and floor were old and broken in some places. The light above the bathroom mirror didn't work. The coffee & sugar were not replenished. Normally when you have a "DND" sign on your door, the cleaning staff would leave some fresh towels outside, which was not done.

They upgraded our room to a luxury room and that was very nice of them. Beds were comfortable and everything was kept clean

They initial advertised the hotel with wellness and we went there expected a big pool and wellness experience but when we got there the wellness was only accessible going nude and then we also were watched by men in the wellness center and felt very uncomfortable overall. On the website it initially did not mention you had to be nude to use the wellness center and it cost extra too. For such high prices you would expect breakfast and wellness included but it's not. Big disappointment.
