No restaurant in the hotel. No good restaurant in the vicinity.. but honestly, that didn’t spoil our trip..

Hotel is located in a beautiful, historic and very romantic park and palace complex. Beautiful, comfortable, and elegant room with a large bathroom, excellent breakfast in the green lounge or on the terrace,. Very helpful and friendly staff (when available).

This is essentially a self-service hotel, with staff only on-site until 2:00 PM (by phone until 8:00 PM), and check-in begins at 3:00 PM, so you have to manage it on your own. If you arrive during the day, everything is fine, but if you arrive at night, the experience easily turns into a nightmare when you're trying to find your way to your room in the dark and rain in a large area with multiple buildings and no signs or arrows on the walls. Additionally, in our case, some prankster completely blocked and covered the correct door with three large bins of dirty laundry. Finding our room took 55 minutes, and we were close to sleeping in our car in the parking lot. In the morning, we discovered that some directions (in German only) were placed on a piece of paper on a thin metal stand which had been knocked over by the wind, making it impossible to see. Generally, it is great during the day, but a nightmare after dark.

We arrived at 17:30. There was no one to welcome us nor help us with the check in or bags. We have to lug them 200m and then cimb multilpe flights of stairs with them. Terrrible! The rest of our stay was pleasant and we would come back again if there was someone to help us check in.
