About this cabin rental

This cute cabin sits down in a wooded holler near Winslow, AR, is 10 minutes from Devils Den State Park, and just 25 minutes from Fayetteville. Enjoy the quiet, peaceful woods with the amenities of home. BBQ grill, firepit, and picnic table at each cabin. Perfect for a quiet getaway for 1, 2 or the whole family. Great for Razorback sports events and more. The front porch rocker has a beautiful view. The pond is fun for fishing, riding the "peddle boat" or a kayak. The playground is waiting for the kiddos. There are 6 cabins available so share with your family and friends and have a great gathering for the weekend. The cabin has WIFI, is stocked with linens, dishes, a smart TV & DVD player. You can easily get a data signal on your phone.
Our new road to the cabins is a dirt/gravel road but 4-wheel drive is NOT required.
1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 common area with 2 twin beds and a trundle. The living room has a sofa, love seat and chair. The kitchen table seats 4.

The cabin was a peaceful place to relax and get away for the weekend. It was very clean and well stocked. The owner gave good directions, which is good, as this property would be hard to find without good instructions. It was in close proximity to Devil’s Den with some great hiking.

We loved our stay at the cabin. The trek down was steep, as the owner indicated, however, it was passable in my truck. The cabin was clean, homey, and welcoming. There were fantastic hiking and other paths around the property. We loved our stay there.

We were so pleased with our stay. The cabin was very nice and comfortable. We loved getting to fish just outside the cabin and had we stayed longer we would have done one of the trails. Getting to hear the night time wildlife was something we were missing but the icing was the bats that came at night. Would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Connie was so helpful with text messages regarding directions in to West Fork to go grocery shopping. The view is breathtaking with sights of the Ozarks and wildlife. The pond was nice to fish at in the evenings. Cabin was well stocked with towels and a small laundry closet to wash clothes. I wasn't quite sure of the cooling units when we arrived but, it cools the cabin just fine with the ceiling fans on. Also enjoyed time on the porch in the nice porch rocking chairs with ceiling fans above to help stay cool. Maybe a cooling unit in the upstairs bedroom would be my only recommendation. The terrain in quite rough so bringing our truck was a must. We enjoyed the Farmers Market Saturday morning and walked to Farrells for a drink and lunch on Dickson street also to cool off. Sunday we went to Devils Den. I would love to return in the fall and catch a game and see the sights in the autumn. Just what our family needed! Quiet getaway with plenty to do on site of property! State park 10 minutes away for more hiking trails and scenery, but plenty of onsite scenic hiking as well. Fully stocked kitchen as far as utensils and cookware available. Great owners!! Will definitely be our go to for any future trips!

Such a beautiful stay! The cabin was cozy and our family had a blast. Lots to do at the cabin and around the property. We didn't even leave. We hiked around the property, fished, played games, watched Flubber, and cooked all of our meals at the cabin. Definitely will be returning. Felt so welcome and loved our stay.

This place had so much attention to detail. I told Connie she had a gift of hospitality! Enjoyed some hiking around the property along the beautiful rock formations. The cabin itself was so comfortable and well stocked, and the large front porch was so nice to have. Already thinking about when we can come back! The listing says a 4x4 is recommended because of the road that goes down to the cabin. We drove a minivan over it, and it was fine except for one part where we did drag a little. Not a huge deal for us.

This property was very scenic and beautiful. I do agree I don't think a low setting vehicle could make it up and down the drive way. The cabin had so much to offer as in cooking and family entertainment. This cabin is in a great remote area just min from Devils Den and Fayetteville.

We enjoyed our stay in the main cabin. Very roomy for the 2 of us, but very relaxing and quiet at the same time. We didn’t take advantage of all the property had to offer because we ventured out to some surrounding places during our stay. The cabin was very close to Devil’s Den state park and Lake Fort Smith, which is where we spent most of our time. Connie provided restaurant recommendations, and we absolutely loved the one we picked from her list. I would also recommend eating at Grandma’s House Cafe for lunch; amazing home cooked food and delicious pies for dessert. Thank you for our stay Connie. We loved it!

Connie was great and kept us in the know for the check-in process and made sure we knew she was available if we needed anything. The property and cabin were awesome, from sitting on the front porch, to hanging out in the living room watching a movie, maneuvering and cooking in the kitchen. It was a very comfortable and clean place to stay.. The king size bed was extremely comfortable.. overall great experience and I highly recommend if you are wanting to be in close proximity to Devil’s Den.

We came to the area to do some hiking but we had rain the 3 days and 3 nights we were there. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, the wood stove and the sound of rain on the metal roof. The first afternoon, before it started raining, we enjoyed the front porch. We had no problem getting in and out on the rough road, even with all the rain.

Staying at the cabin was such a relaxing, fun experience. My friends and I played piano, watched movies, went for a hike on the property, and all this within 15 minutes of Devils Den, a perfect day trip. All the appliances worked perfectly, and our beds were so comfortable. We were all so thankful for how accommodating Mrs. Connie was and when we had questions, she was so prompt and eager to make our stay the best it could be. A perfect weekend getaway, and we’re even thinking of coming back one day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Property is in a great location for anyone wanting to have an outdoor experience. Close to Devils Den or White Rock for great hiking or just getting outdoors. Property is off the beaten path seclusion wise but only a short distance from paved road and Interstate 49. Cabin was roomy and comfortable. Make sure that you have a vehicle that has a fairly high ground clearance because road down to cabin is fairly rutted but you will have no problems with an suv or truck. Really enjoyed our time and our host was very responsive to any questions.

The cabin was perfect for our family of four. The property was nice and had a great hiking trail and the fishing pond was fun. We really enjoyed the privacy. Devils Den is just down the road, but spent more time at the cabin because there was plenty to do there. We will be back in the future.

This cabin is perfect! So clean with every thoughtful detail provided. The property is beautiful! Wonderful hiking & fishing right on their property. Fire ring for night fires & smores. Very close to Devil’s Den for hiking and just a short trip to Fayetteville to some delicious restaurant choices. Connie was an amazing host & promptly answered every question I had. An SUV would be better suited to traverse the road to the property - but that’s part of the charm. You are on your way to a fun outdoor experience! We will definitely return & tell others! We wanted a perfect uninterrupted family getaway. Spent Thanksgiving Holiday with the family wanting to get away from the crowds. This place was perfect. So much to do around the cabin on the owner's land and Devils Den state park is just a ways up the street. The kids were worn out every night and had a clean, relaxing, secluded getaway to return home to. We used our cell phone to connect to their smart TV and had unlimited Netflix and cable access. The owners could not have been more helpful. This will definitely be an annual getaway at minimum. The perfect place to reconnect with your family and to get away from the rat race...

I enjoyed my stay at this cabin. I was there for 3 nights and was comfortable through out my stay. No problems during my stay, the owner responded very fast to any questions I had and also gave me information to local grocery store and eatery. The owner has detailed information regarding the directions, the TV, and and the driveway to get to the cabin. I would suggest looking at the owners information or/and reaching out to them if you have any questions before going. I would not suggest to use a car that is low to the ground due to the driveway. I was in a truck (2wd) pulling a trailer and atv. I did not have any problems. Overall, I would stay at this cabin again.

Lovely cozy cabin on large property. Very comfortable for four adults. Plenty of amenities for cooking and dining. Rustic with the lack of Wifi and only 3 TV channels. Steep dirt road to the property needs maintenance. Enjoyed our time there.
