Very nice condo.. It had everything you needed from washer/dryer which included detergent and dryer sheets which we used on a daily basis. The kitchen had included all of the basic items (i.e. pots, pans, utensils, spices, foil, dishwasher liquid, plastic bags, and ect) which reduced our stress when arriving from a long flight. There was a KTA market & strip mall less than 5 minutes away which made it easy to purchase groceries and other supplies. The condo did not have AC which was difficult for my family the weather was humid and hot in August, and since my family is accustom to AC since we live in Phoenix. They had many floor fans which helped out significantly. It appears many of the condos in HI does not have AC, so somewhat expected. The condo has WI-Fi, but was slow. They informed me they were transitioned to a new provider, so don't know if that was the reason. In any case, this was not a showstopper because we were out the majority of the time. Tara was very responsive when I made inquiries. The condo was clean and inviting compared to other condos that I stayed at and would stay there again if I visited Kona again.

This is I think our 4th time staying here. We love the location, the connivence to everything and the view from the balcony is beautiful from sunrise to sunset! The condo is clean, well equipped and feels like home in paradise! The Edwards are great hosts and are very responsive if needed. Thanks again for letting us share your special space in Hawaii!

I've been coming to this home for many years and don't even look for other options. The home is super spacious and all rooms are generously sized. The floor plan is perfect with all public spaces overlooking panoramic ocean view. I love using lanai as my living and dining room - it's wonderful at any time of the day, even if it's raining! (maybe especially when it's raining). The home is well-stocked and has every possible item for your daily adventures. The hosts are most gracious people, very responsive, kind and helpful - I'm so appreciative. I can't wait to be back!

My husband, I and our 2 young children spent 2 nights at the condo and were so wonderfully pleased. We knew going into it, from the photos, that we would love it but the photos don't do it justice. Super spacious living/dining space, fully equipped kitchen and grill, large bathroom (and I appreciated the bench seat in shower for showering my children), comfy bed, and wow, the lanai was huge and the most fantastic view! We appreciated the detailed check-in info and communications prior to arrival and the house rules and check-out procedures were straightforward and reasonable. Our kids enjoyed the family friendly pool and us adults appreciated the poolside bar. :) The location across from the KTA also couldn't be beat. Definitely recommend.

As frequent visitors to Hawaii, we were especially pleased with the cleanliness of the condominium and the care that the owners took to ensure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Kitchen was nicely stocked with condiments and well equipped. Furnishings were in excellent condition. Sunset views from the lanai are striking. We would gladly return.

This condo was an ideal home base for our family trip to the Kailua-Kona area. The condo itself was spacious and comfortable, with a huge lanai and beautiful ocean views. The resort was great, with multiple pools and many sports activities for kids to enjoy. The location was also great, close to many restaurants and great beaches with tons of water activities, snorkeling, etc. Overall, it was an amazing place to stay. We were VERY sad to leave!

The roaches in the bathroom and kitchen were one thing, but my bedroom unfortunately had a hornet infestation. I contacted the owners and noboby returned my message. Had to check out early and find a new place. Very unfortunate the owners couldn't take responsibility and do the right thing by giving me a refund. Also the place was noisy from the pool which was supposed to be the quiet pool.

Air conditioning would be nice…but open windows and fans worked just fine for us. A designated/reserved parking spot would be nice, but again, wasn’t a big deal. 1 bed rm condo is very spacious for 3 adults. Shopping center with grocery store right out side the complex. Very well stocked and surprised by welcome gift -- 100% Kona coffee, cookies, and a pear. Only thing I wish to have is darker window covering in bed room and living room.

We really enjoyed this condo for the week. It was very well stocked and we are convinced we had the best view of all of the Kona Coast Resort. We really enjoyed the amenities at the resort as well. We were a bit nervous about no A/C before we checked in but there are plenty of fans and it really cooled down at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Located minutes away from beaches, snorkelling and shopping. This spacious condo has a beautiful view of the sunset, great fully stocked kitchen and great living space and lanai. The location is very quiet. We had lots of space to have people over for dinner. Pools are nice. We will definitely stay here again. I booked this property from 8/8/22 - 8/10/22. I came back from an excursion at 9:30PM & found cockroaches crawling on the kitchen counter & on the living room wall. There were 3 cockroaches ran out under the knife block when we lift it up. Our grocery bag with food we just bought were crawling with cockroaches. I watched a cockroach crawled up my water bottle when I was frantically trying to contact the owner (text, call & email). Luckily I was able to book a room at the Holiday Express in town for $400/night. The owner didn't get back to me until the next day after I left the property & she actually stated she didn't see the reason for me to leave the property. She stated they spray the ground for cockroaches & she will ask to have extra spray. The owner only refunded me a fraction of what I paid for this property. In addition, there is no AC & the temperature was over 90F. There was no amount of fans or trade wind blowing into the property to cool down at all. Forget about VRBO doing anything because I didn't contact them & the owner within 24hrs. I was so distraught that I was not in the right frame of mind to remember or to put aside the excursion that I paid so dearly so that I can contact VRBO within 24hrs! If you don't mind cockroaches then do enjoy the beautiful view.

The space was beautiful! They left a cute little note and snacks for when we got there. The space was very clean, the previous review mentioned the carpet, but it had either been replaced or deeeep cleaned as it was super fresh. The space was well stocked and has the best view! Hopefully will be staying here again!

The location of the property was pure perfection. Sunset views each night from the lanai, which truly is an outdoor extension of the living room. The kitchen is in the process of being renovated, and the updated choices thus far are superb. Our only issue was with a housekeeping faux paux. The unit was not ready, and though we called the owner, who quickly got things straightened out, it disrupted our evening plans. We left for our dinner plans with housekeeping still working, only to return and later learn the dishwasher was not unloaded. We could not comply with the homeowner's rules of placing our dishes in the dishwasher and starting it before leaving.

The location is great, the views are beautiful. This condo is quite old but functional, stocked pretty well and has a lot of space. However, it is quite dirty. The carpets are very dirty, you can visibly see the difference in color around furniture, there isn't AC so you need to open blinds and windows, both of which are also quite dirty as well as the fans. I don't have severe allergies but even mine were affected by all the dust.

The condo owners were very responsive and helpful. They left a welcome fruit basket for us and checked to be sure we checked in okay. The location is only two minutes from the best snorkeling spot on the island, a good restaurant (Tropics) is within walking distance as is a grocery store, and it is easy and quick to get to a nearby bay and beach by car. The downtown area is about 15-20 minutes away. The unit has great ocean views and is very spacious. A total kitchen makeover is needed, however, and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. We would stay at Kona coast resort again in a moment but would be choosier about the actual condo next time.
