If you're looking for the perfect place to stay to make your time in the French Alps extra special, look no further! The home is just as described, meticulously clean, very well appointed, and the view from the patio garden is spectacular. We tend to cook a lot of our meals at home so we especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. The house is tucked up in the hillside for ultimate peace and quiet yet it's just a short drive to the main roads to easily access Chamonix, Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval, or Samoeans. Truly the perfect location and the best of both worlds. Sylviane and Denis are exceptionally warm, welcoming hosts. We had some personal issues come up during our stay and they genuinely went above and beyond to help us during some challenging days. We highly recommend staying here with some very kind hosts!

Well equipped property with lots of room. The furniture and decoration are well chosen to match the character of the building. With thick stone walls the temperature remained pleasantly cool even when it was too hot to sit outside. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful and we would love to return another time.

We are a family of 6, including 4 teen-agers. We had a wonderful time. Sylviane is adorable and very helpful. The house was ideal for us in terms of internal space / facilities and location. We drove to Le Grand Massif or Flaine every morning. Easy and quick access to shops. Merci beaucoup Sylviane. Nous reviendrons!

We had a great time and the property worked really well for us. We had seven adults and two cars. This meant we did not always arrive back at the same time which helped with only one bathroom and separate toilet. There was always plenty of hot water for the shower. Access to the shower very tight! not really suitable for anyone large or with poor balance. There is a bath with shower however. The master bedroom has one double bed and two adult singles - one pulls out from under the other. To use all four beds would be cosy but quite possible. The two identical twin rooms were comfortable with plenty of space. The kitchen/dinner was great for breakfast and came well equipped. No cheese grater !!!!!!!!! The lounge/Dinning Room was comfortable and there was very ample cutlery and crockery. Two fondue machines and a raclette machine. The dining table sat 10 comfortably although the lounge chairs consisted of a sofa and rocking chair - so needed dinning chairs for all to watch TV! Satellite TV and DVD player in Lounge and TV in master bedroom. Garage,, Large parking Area, including outside front door. Laundry Room with washing machine and drying rack. Heating excellent - never cold but did need adjusting at different times, we turned it down when we went out for the day. Supermarket just down the hill - easy to pick up anything you need. Host very helpful and easy to work with. We may well return as it worked brilliantly for us and we had a great holiday. ps - You could need snow chains ( but you should be carrying them anyway!)

Wir haben eine Woche unserer Elternzeitreise mit unseren drei Kindern (5 Jahre, 3 Jahre und Baby 4 Monate) in Magland verbracht. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, die Kommunikation war mit ein bisschen verbliebenem Schulfranzösisch und Google translate problemlos möglich. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine leckere Salami und eine Seife, die ihre Schwiegertochter herstellt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super als Startpunkt für diverse Ausflüge (zb Parc de Merlet, Chamonix mit Mer de Glace, Lac de Passy, Lac Vert, Annecy usw., alles in etwa 30-60 Minuten erreichbar). Es gibt einen schönen Garten mit einem Brunnen, an dem die Kinder spielen können und eine Terrasse mit tollem Blick in die Berge. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und würde auch locker für 6 Erwachsene reichen. Und sie war perfekt sauber (!!) und top ausgestattet (sogar Grundausstattung zum Putzen, alles was man an Küchengeräten braucht, genug Geschirr und Besteck...) Es gibt ein großes Wohn-Esszimmer und genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten an großen Tischen. Neben den 3 Schlafzimmer und dem Bad mit extra Toilette gibt es noch einen Waschraum und einen großen Abstellraum, perfekt zb für Ski, Vorräte oder Gepäck. WLAN ist zwar theoretisch vorhanden, praktisch war es aber ein mobiler Hotspot, der langsamer als unser mobiles Internet und wir ihn daher nicht genutzt haben. Es gibt keine Handtücher! Das war uns nicht ganz ersichtlich, aber auch kein Problem, da wir eh welche dabei hatten. Wir waren sehr glücklich mit der Wohnung und Sylviane als Gastgeberin und empfehlen Sie unbedingt weiter!

Très satisfaits de notre séjour en Haute-Savoie, location située dans un très bel endroit, calme où l'on entend chanter les oiseaux de la terrasse. Très bon accueil, les propriétaires sont charmants et à l'écoute. La maison est spacieuse, nous étions 6 adultes et 2 enfants, et très bien équipé, il ne manque rien, une grande cuisine, une très grande salle à manger salon, une salle de bain avec douche et baignoire et 3 chambres confortables. Pas de problème de stationnement 2 parkings sont à notre disposition.

Je wordt bij aankomst uitgebreid ontvangen en rondgeleid door de zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. Het is een ruime woning met drie slaapkamers, een keuken en een woonkamer. Een slaapkamer met twee persoons bed en een eenpersoons bed waaronder nog een eenpersoons bed kan worden uitgeschoven. Twee slaapkamers met elk twee eenpersoons bedden. De woning is voorzien van Uitgebreide uitrusting. Van broodrooster tot wasmachine, alles is aanwezig en in prima conditie. De woning is zeer schoon. Je moet wel zelf beddengoed meenemen, er zijn wel wat dekens maar een dekbed moet je zelf meebrengen. Wij hebben de woning gebruikt voor wintersport vakantie. Het is 20 minuten rijden met de auto naar Les Carroz over een slingerweg de berg op. Ook na sneeuwval kon dat zonder sneeuwkettingen maar ik kan mij voorstellen dat er ook situaties kunnen ontstaan dat je de kettingen wel echt nodig hebt. Langs de route van/naar het skigebied kom je letterlijk langs een grote supermarkt, erg handig. De woning heeft ons prima voldaan! Gezin met drie tieners.

Wir sind schon das 2. Mal bei Madame Boccard. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Das Auto parkt direkt vor der Tür. Das W-Lan könnte schneller sein, besonders wenn mehrere Personen im Internet sind. Wenn man die Skigebiete wechselt ist das hier ein idealer Ausgangspunkt. Der U- Supermarkt ist etwa 4km entfernt und bietet alles was man braucht. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall. Mit 7 Personen ist die Wohnung auch nicht überfüllt. Wir werde. sicher wiederkommen.

Logement très propre et décoré avec goût. L'organisation des chambres est bien faite avec d'un côté la chambre "parentale", et de l'autre, les deux chambres avec des lits simples. Situé sur les hauteurs de Magland, ce qui est appréciable pour regarder le paysage. Nous avons pu profiter de la grande terrasse, même sous la pluie, car abritée. Grand Super U à 5 min en voiture. Les propriétaires sont adorables et réactifs.

Wir haben in Magland einen rundum wundervollen Sommerurlaub mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Teenagern verbringen dürfen. Die Wohnung ist groß, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders schön sind die Terrasse und der Garten mit einem wundervollen Blick auf die Berge, zu jeder Tageszeit ein großer Genuss! Wir konnten viele schöne Ausflüge in der näheren Umgebung machen, natürlich Bergwanderungen mit Blick auf den Mont Blanc, beeindruckende Wasserfälle, Badeseen und auch Genf und der Genfer See sind für einen Tagesausflug gut erreichbar. Einen ganz besonderen Dank an unsere sehr herzlichen Vermieter Sylviane und Denis

Fijne, ruime woning van alle gemakken voorzien met vanaf het terras een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Je wordt verwelkomd door een sympathieke gastvrouw. Mooie omgeving om te wandelen en te zwemmen in meertjes in de buurt. Chamonix op 30 minuten rijden is een gezellig, heel mooi stadje, zeer de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Joli vue depuis la maison. Beaucoup d'espace et très pratique. Bien équipé avec buanderie et grand cellier. Emplacement idéal pour visiter la région avec une voiture. Propriétaires très gentils et disponibles. Le wifi est un box 4G avec un forfait limité, donc nous avons plutôt utilisé nos téléphones car la réception 4G est bonne. Pas de soucis en cas de neige, la route est dégagée rapidement. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine à la ferme d’Areu. Le gîte est très bien situé pour visiter les environs (Chamonix, le lac vert, parc du Merlet, sixt fer à cheval et le cirque du fer à cheval, Annecy, les Lindarets et le lac de Montriond, Le lac d’airon, etc) Le gîte est resté frais pendant la canicule, les enfants ont donc très bien dormi. Il est très bien équipé aussi bien en terme d’électroménager que des produits utiles ( lessives, liquide vaisselle, etc). Le jardin est très agréable et un point d’eau a beaucoup amusé nos filles pendant le séjour. Enfin l’accueil est très agréable ! Merci pour les cadeaux d’arrivée et le gâteau !

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious and very very well equipped appartement. Sylviane and her husband are so friendliy and caring and did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We even got some gifts when we left, which was really, really nice! The apparement is located in a lovely environment and we enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on the patio and sometimes relaxed in the beautiful, sunnny garden. Be prepared of getting vistis from the neighbours dogs, which however are very friendly and our daughters had fun to play with them. There are plenty of possibilities to hike and to Chamonix is is only 30min by car. All in all we had a perfect stay an can definitely recommend this place.

Heel vriendelijke mensen! De woning was kraaknet. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig (inclusief fondue- en raclettestel). Handige wasruimte met plaats voor ski’s (zelfs met drogers voor de botten) daarnaast ook nog een grote frisse bergruimte. Een 20 tal minuten rijden naar les carroz. Echt heel goed verblijf gehad!

Nous avons été accueillis avec pleins de charmantes attentions par Sylviane, aux petits soins pour nous avant pendant et après le séjour ! La maison est grande (nous étions 2 familles avec enfants), tout à fait conforme au descriptif, typique de la montagne. Il y a tout le nécessaire : lave linge, appareil à raclette ou fondu, et même chaise haute pour bébé et lit à barreaux si besoin. Les pistes de ski sont accessibles en voiture (15 min environ). La vue de la maison est aussi agréable, de grands espaces. Nous garderons cette adresse bien au chaud pour nos prochains séjours ;-) Encore merci Sylviane et à votre fils également.

A warm welcome by the owners who took all the time to explain everything and provide information about the area. A nice house that is very suitable as a base for walks in the area or visits to Annecy, Chamonix and Geneva. A nice view on the surrounding mountains. Walks in the woods behind the house were hampered because of a lot of fallen trees due to a recent storm. Within 10 minutes on the A40 between Geneva and Chamonix, but no traffic can be heard.

Wir haben hier im Hochsommer eine schöne Woche mit 2 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern verbracht. Das Haus verfügt über alles was man braucht, inkl. Veranda mit wunderschönem Ausblick, einem kleinen Brunnen und Garten. Sehr gepflegter Zustand, es war bei extremen Außentemperaturen im Haus zudem immer noch angenehm kühl. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit dem Auto in knapp 10 Minuten erreichbar, sehr gefreut haben sich unsere Kinder auch über den Badesee in der Nähe (15 Minuten). Wir wurden von Sylviane und Denis sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns wohl gefühlt!
