Convenient location, but poor transparency

The property is well located in Le Guilvinec. We liked how convenient it is and the possibility to have a place for 4 people at a time.

It’s surprising that a security deposit is separately required from the hotel at arrival without any mention on Booking.com or during the booking process, leaving guests unaware until it’s too late to adjust plans. The handling of the deposit is also concerning, as no inventory or condition check (“état des lieux”) is conducted upon arrival or, unless requested, at departure, which is the usual requirement for withholding money in property rentals (because this is what it is). This leaves the refund entirely at the discretion of the staff, which feels unfair and legally questionable at best. Additionally, and once again, without any mention at any point during the booking process, expecting guests to clean the apartment, including taking out their own trash, seems unreasonable for the price, which typically include professional cleaning to ensure consistent standards, but here, it appears guests are tasked with this to cut costs. While leaving a space tidy is completely understandable, . Although the deposit was fully refunded in my case, these practices don’t align with the premium pricing. Usually, this level of self service comes with a friendly price tag. This left a sour taste on an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Would definitely stay again

The pool was lovely, never too crowded. The apartment was a great size with a good range of equipment. The hosts didn't speak English, and we had limited French, but they were really friendly and with the help of Google translate we managed fine.

We were only issued one towel for our whole stay, which is great for the environment but not as good when we needed a towel for the pool. Also we were only given one toilet roll and one small shower gel so we had to buy more from the supermarket. For the price and the other facilities this wasn't a problem, just something to be aware of when booking.

Basic accommodation with unfriendly staff

The accommodation was value and comfortable.

The staff were very abrupt and unhelpful. We received a text 10 minutes before check in that the apartment was not ready and had to wait for an hour for cleaning. The apartment lacked a couch stated in the description. We did not receive an appolgy for either of these and had to contact booking.com to resolve this. The town is also quite industrial, do maybe not the best for a long-term stay.

Le Guilvinec is a nice little town with some good restaurants. The apartments are well situated.

No breakfast - self catering

At over 100 ero a night, I had expected a little more luxury. The accommodation was clean, pleasant but not exceptional. It would be easy to give guests more than 1 dishwasher tablet, etc. No servicing whatsover in five days.

- Well located in the center of Le Guilvinec - Comfortable Bed - Very clean - Well sized storage capacity - Fenced parking lots (covered if needed)

- Appartment interior design rather scarce - Lighting concept could benefit from some improvement (few daylight) - Regarding kitchen equipment there is everything you need for one meal but space in the dishwasher would be for 3+ - Knives need sharpening - No cutting boards

Great value for money

Secure parking, good size bedrooms and lots of closet space. Also very close to some if the best surf beaches in Finistere.

No washing machine and dryer as shared facilities. We also didn't realise that the third double bed was a couch bed in the living room. Balcony is tiny offering space to sit for max 2 people. In general the whole complex could be made much more attractive if they would place lots of plants and trees in the public areas around the apartments.

Condiciones no indicadas en la reserva

Buena ubicación, aparcamiento gratuito y piscina.

Después de reservar y cuando ya no era posible cancelar sin coste, nos comunicaron que había que dejar una fianza de 150€. Si el apartamento no se entregaba limpio al salir, se cobraría una tasa descontada de la fianza. Estas condiciones no se especificaban en el momento de hacer la reserva. Si hubiésemos sabido que había que hacer de personal de limpieza, no habríamos cogido este apartamento. El propietario se negó a cancelar la reserva sin coste, a pesar de no cumplir las condiciones contratadas a través de Booking. Además las camas y almohadas son muy incómodas.

Bien mais....Le soir tout est fermé, pas d'animation , il faut aller loin

Acceuil très chaleureux, explications complètes et détaillées de l'établissement

Horaires de la piscine non respectée. Après 18h, il faut passer par la rue pour y accéder ou rentre dans son appart s'il n'est pas situé dans la cours. Le wifi qui fonctionnait très mal alors qu'établissement choisi pour ça en priorité. Je vais écrire un courrier d'insatisfaction a ce sujet. Le robinet de la salle de bain extement difficile a utiliser .

Lage gut, Studio sauber und mit allen nötigen Küchenutensilien ausgestattet... guter Ausgangspunkt für die Entdeckung des traditionsreichen Bigoudenlandes und schöner Küstenabschnitte

Preis-Leistung- Verhältnis passt nicht! Als Gast muss man bei der Abreise quasi "Putzfrau" spielen. Jede Klorolle, jedes Geschirrspül-Tab ist abgezählt- das heißt, es war effektiv nur 1 da!!! Außerdem musste eine Kaution von 150 Euro geleistet werden, was aber bei der Beschreibung der Unterkunft nicht erwähnt wird.

Gut eingerichtetes, sauberes Appartement: alles war da und Geschirr war sauber. Genügend Parkplätze: aussen und innen. Gute Betten und Kissen..

Extremes Möwengeschrei das auch in der Nacht nicht aufgehört hat. Unmittelbar vor dem Balkon. Ich habe mich manchmal bedroht gefühlt. Wlan hat nicht immer gute Verbindung gehabt. Aussicht auf eine Hauswand. Personal hat nur französisch gesprochen.
