Excellent modern country living close to Newquay

Although situated in a holiday hot spot, the Annexe provided an island of calm to come home to. Well kitted out kitchen , wonderful shower room and bedroom ... plenty of space in the lounge/ diner. Excellent !

Property set in large grounds, well maintained, very peaceful and relaxing, the annexe was very comfortable and nice to come back to after a day sightseeing. Would definitely recommend. Chickens came to visit every day.

A wonderful, relaxing, comfortable, spacious place to stay. Beautiful grounds and area to stay. Spotlessly clean, excellent shower. Next to no phone coverage but excellent wifi. It has everything you could need. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful Location

Beautiful location bit of the beaten track but so peaceful, I was there whilst working at the Royal Cornwall Show so wish I could have spent more time at the property. Everything was very clean and it has everything you need. Including very friendly chickens!!

Beautiful peaceful setting but within easy reach of main towns and beaches. The Annexe is very well designed and felt welcoming and spacious. Very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Attractive property in a quite location

Very clean attractive property. Very well equipped Set in a pretty garden. Located down some very narrow lanes quite a way from the main road but that made it lovely and quiet. The bird song in the morning was wonderful.

The view was amazing, the property was very clean and had everything needed for our stay. Kitchen facilities were excellent, we just loved everything about our stay. The welcoming committee (chickens) was pretty cool also.

It is a lovely place (which is why it gets 10/10 all the time), it’s modern, comfortable & clean with all the facilities you need. Location is peaceful and in easy reach of Newquay and other sites. It’s located in a small hamlet on a very quiet road.

Lovely Location & great property

Lovely property, I stayed her whilst working at Cornwall Show so great location, a bit of the beaten track but that is quite normal for the area! Great property, very comfy and had everything I needed. Good communication from hosts prior to arrival, and I was made very welcome by a group of chickens when I arrived!! No phone signal but wifi worked perfectly for me and was also able to work and do emails when I needed to.

secluded heaven

stunning location, quiet, tastefully designed annexe with all mod cons, everything you needed was there.I would love to visit again, very central base for exploring the whole of Cornwall or just relax and enjoy the peace. Very well thought out design and facilities.

only tiny problem was lack of reliable wi fi, some days it was there and some not which made it difficult to plan going out as we get so much information from the Internet. , also needed to be in touch with family...no phone signal either ( that was no suprise as remote area, owners had a land line in case of emergency )

Beautiful location, comfortable bed. Everything you could need

Beautiful surroundings, rural but still so close to everything! So spacious inside but felt cosy, like a home away from home! Added bonus of the washing machine so no washing swimwear or our lack of warm evenings clothes in the shower

Only downside was the wifi. Due to the location there is no phone service and as much as the property has wifi, it’s very weak. We had to have our phones on the box to be able to Google things and couldn’t make wifi calls if needed. Was only an issue when trying to Google postcodes before leaving and also when trying to call to make bookings

Lovely rural location, very pretty and quiet spot. The whole appartment, more like a small house, had everything I needed and was modern, clean and very comfortable

Peaceful stay in Cornwall

We enjoyed our stay at Tregoose House. It is such a quiet and peaceful location. The Annexe is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. It was good to get away from the crowds in the Cornwall coastal towns.

The lane in is quite narrow and can be a bit tricky to negotiate at times. Otherwise everything was lovely

Great Hideaway in Newquay

We loved everything about the Annexe. The bed was very comfortable, a very large bathroom including a great shower. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances. Liz, the host went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and rescuing two tired travelers.

The setting of the accommodation was so peaceful and it was nice to get back to it after the craziness of some of the places in Cornwall. The accommodation was spotless and the hosts were helpful and friendly.

Disappointed overall.

The lock box was easy to open once you found where to go. Good knives and pots and pans, clean, bright.

The amount of stairs wasn't clear in the listing, 2 flights to the bedroom plus 3 more to the bathroom. The lounge (not like the listing)was covered in a dust cover like you would put down for grubby children, not paying guests. The listing indicates there was a terrace with lake views and an outdoor dining option, none of which we saw. It also indicated there was 'chocolate or cookies' to enjoy...none were found.The bed is a double and perhaps this is normal for the British but not what an overseas traveller would expect..very small.

How clean and cosy it was. The hosts were in touch regularly beforehand. Not overpriced like a lot of properties so will definitely book again and recommend to friends.
