When you first arrive to High Bank Ranch you will immediately see why we are the destination for family get-togethers and Guadalupe river fun. The 2 house complex is laid out to capture outdoor activities along with the ability to sleep 22 people in comfy beds. You can begin your day with poolside coffee highlighted by the sound of waterfalls and a cool breeze. When the you are ready for more activity there is volleyball/badminton/ping pong/ yard games, kayaks, and pool. The day only gets better in the first class outdoor kitchen built in 2016 (gas grill, electric oven/stove, cocktail bar sink, fully stocked cookware and utensils, fridge, wine fridge and deep freezer), the aroma from the Pizza Oven, and the 70 in. TV in the outdoor living space will keep your guests happy. Plenty of room for our guests to spread out, large driveway, and privacy galore on 63 acres. An added bonus is a full hookup for RV and barn/pasture if you would like to bring your horses, trail riding, hiking and biking.

Our property is situated on the Guadalupe River (Lake McQueeney section). The river here is not in the busy section so water floats are available for your use and we have 4 kayaks. Bring your fishing poles for Catfish and Bass. Highly recommend!We had an absolutely incredible stay at High Bank Ranch for our co-ed wedding party weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property and the warmth of the host. Communication with the host was seamless and made everything stress-free.The 2-house setup is perfect for groups, comfortably sleeping 10 couples, and designed for both relaxation and fun. Our group spent most of our time outdoors, enjoying the sparkling pool and the first-class outdoor kitchen (cocktail bar sink, fully stocked cookware / utensils, fridge, wine fridge, and deep freezer; everything we needed!). It truly felt like a luxury outdoor living space, and our guests loved every minute of it.One highlight of the weekend was having a private Hibachi chef come out and cook for us. There was more than enough space.There was plenty of room to spread out, with a huge driveway, total privacy across 63 acres, and the peaceful backdrop of the Guadalupe River. The property is immaculate and thoughtfully stocked: 8 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, 2 hot tubs, outdoor shower, 2 laundry rooms, fast Wi-Fi, and all linens and towels included.Every detail of this stay exceeded our expectations, from the comfort of the homes to the incredible outdoor setup. The home was beautiful and in a great location. It easily accommodated our group of 18, with plenty of space and sleeping arrangements for everyone. The pool, house, and restrooms were spotless and well-prepared for our stay. After entering through the ranch gate, there’s a short scenic drive to the property, which we loved—it felt private and secluded with no nearby neighbors. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and overall the experience exceeded expectations. We would definitely book again!

High Bank Ranch was absolutely amazing. Our family of 22 fit comfortably in the two houses. Everything was so nice and clean. They thought of everything! The volleyball net, the pool, the lawn games , the ping pong table, the kayaks and the paddleboard kept all of our kids so busy and outside having fun together! Suzanne was such a great host. She even had Amazon deliver extra pizza pans for the brick oven pizza just to make sure we had enough. Highly recommended! We will be back!

I have been doing our friends yearly Comal River Float event for 5 years and this was by far the best place for our party of 22. Enough beds, bathrooms, and plenty of food prep areas with 3 refrigerators and a deep freezer to cook for everyone. Highly recommend for a large headcount.

High Bank Ranch in New Braunfels gave our family a vacation we’ll never forget. The property is gorgeous—peaceful, spacious, and set up for making memories. But what made the biggest difference was the attention to detail Suzanne and her team provided. Everything was perfect … certainly above and beyond any of our expectations. The pool area was a favorite for our children and grandchildren. They swam for hours every day and absolutely loved every minute. The outdoor kitchens were another highlight—we enjoyed cooking together and eating outside in the beautiful Hill Country. And the Treehouse was the perfect place to relax, connect, and enjoy time as a family. Sharing the river for the first time with our grandkids was especially meaningful for us! They swam, enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boards and did flips off the dock. They now understand why it holds such a special place in our hearts and they’re already asking when we can return.Thank you, Suzanne, for making this such a special trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or better people. We’ll absolutely be back!

The whole property was as advertised. Our annual family gathering is something we all look forward to every memorial weekend. This stay was amazing. We played games, listened to music and cooked great meals in the outdoor kitchen. Fished, and the little ones loved greeting the donkeys every morning. Accommodations are 5 star. This property exceeded everyone’s expectations. It was perfect for our large group to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house was very well stocked and had plenty of refrigerator space to handle a big group. The outdoor cooking /entertainment pavilion was where we spent a large majority of time. TV,games, full kitchen and plenty of comfortable seating made this a go to spot The pool and hot tub completed the feel of the outdoor oasis. Everyone wanted to rebook for next year !! The owner communication was timely, thorough,and welcoming on of our best Vrbo experiences ever.

We had a wonderful stay as always! This was our third time booking Susanne's beautiful Lakehouse property. Susanne is the best host. She is so nice, communicative, and helpful via the Vbro message system or through text. The house is gorgeous! We love taking out the kayaks on the river. You feel like you are at a resort with the beautiful pool & hot tub. The outdoor kitchen area is the best, it's so nice to make dinner out there on an evening with perfect weather. We love the house because we like to cook and the house has everything you could ever need to make a delicious dinner! The house is decorated nicely, so you feel like you are at home. We had a Navy Retirement party with friends and family. Beautiful home with an area for everyone in our large group! Some hung out in the pool/jacuzzi, some in the patio area watching football on a 70" outdoor TV. Lots of ping pong tournaments! We also played cards and Giant Jenga at a patio table with seating for 16!! The outdoor kitchen was perfect for grilling and there was covered seating w/firepits and places to just sit and chat. Not to mention those that swam and fished in the lake! The home had plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms and was incredibly well-stocked with spices, foil, everything!! No flies or mosquitos either!! We will be back again!!!!

This is a great sprawling property where there's too much to do in one weekend. It was my 2nd time back and it was just as good as I remembered. Would highly recommend. I gave the "Accuracy of Online Listing" rating 2 stars because it says "6 minute walk to Bandit Golf Course." This is true but misleading. If you want to play Bandit, it is a 17 minute drive unless you bring your own Guadalupe River ferry.

Our family of 18, ranging in age from 9 to 73 had a great time. We were well entertained with the pool, river and games. The kitchens (both indoor and outdoor) were equipped with everything you could possibly need. The sleeping accommodations worked out perfectly for our family. Susanne was the perfect host. Her communication before, during and after our stay was excellent. We certainly made some wonderful memories at this property. Everyone agreed this house was the perfect choice for our family vacation.

Our family LOVED this place. We had all ages stay, young teens, young adults, mid-age adults, and seniors and we all loved it. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was perfect and she answered every question we had. A minor maintenance issue popped up that she needed to have taken care of, she let us know there would be repairmen on site and that they would not need to be inside. They came, did what they needed to do and left quietly. I appreciated the heads up, and they did not interfere with our stay at all! The beds were comfortable and every room was just as she had described. We will definitely stay here again

This place was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING was to notch including the property owners. They made our stay better than a vacation. All the instructions were so detailed that we were even able to operate the wood fired pizza oven and enjoy some amazing pizza. None of us had ever used a wood fired pizza oven. The outdoor entertaining area was better than being at a 5 star resort. I hosted my daughter's baby shower during our stay and several of the guest were talking about making reservations for the property for different events. I cannot say enough about this amazing property. From the instance you drive into the front gate, all the way down the driveway, up to the amazing house and facilities.......TOP NOTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

We researched a lot of properties for our first Family Reunion before we chose High Bank Ranch. This property did not dissapoint and the layout was perfect for our group. A BIG plus was the location on the river. Kayak's, floats and live jackets were provided and if you didn't want to get in the river there is a beautiful pool and spa to enjoy. The outdoor kitchen/living area is amazing and we found ourselves spending a lot of time outdoors. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and we took advantage of the grill and the oven that was available. Big hits were also the ping pong table and air hockey along with badmitten and corn hole. We also enoyed the outdoor TV. Aside from all of that, the house is immaculate and everything was well thought out from all of the supplies provided down to small details such as bathtub toys and soap for the kids. The pool house is amazing and is definitely a plus. It provides three additional sleeping areas, another kitchen and a fantastic downstairs bathroom and outdoor shower. The main house is gorgeous with plenty of sleeping room for everyone and provides amazing living spaces. The decor is beautiful and you will feel pampered after staying at this property. Susanne was amazing and easy to communicate with. We had very few questions but when we did she was quick to respond. We will consider booking this property again for future events and thought it was almost too nice to be a rental!

There are so many amenities, we love the lake access, and the owner is the nicest and most accommodating renter there is! Have stayed here twice now. Once with family and kids and once with adults. This is officially our happy place- we wanted to move in and never leave! Every inch of the space is beautifully manicured and feels like paradise. There is no shortage of amenities from games to huge cooling fans, medial hookups and more to keep the fun rolling on. The sleeping quarters go above and beyond for comfort and privacy. We can’t wait to keep coming back.

This was one of the best stays we have had with our big family. Everything was incredibly clean and they were stocked with everything you could ever need for cooking, playing yards games, board games, chillin in the pool, or hanging out down in the river. The outdoor kitchen area is truly remarkable, that alone is worth it! The pool is perfect and was such a great way to relax in the evenings! You are right on the river with private access with a few steps down but totally worth it. They have kayaks and paddle boards and tubes and a nice, little beach to relax on. The location is perfect as well. You are REALLY close to NB yet not stuck so far in town that you deal with the summer traffic rush all of the time. It was an easy 15 minute drive to Schlitterbahn, Gruene, the Comal and only about 5 minutes to hop on 35 to take a little trip to Austin or San Antonio. We have already booked for next year :)

The property is very well maintained and beautiful. Although the lake was lower due to dam repairs, it was much higher than we thought it would be and floats, paddleboards and kayaks could all be utilized with no problem. Susanne is the best most accommodating hostess ever! This was I believe our fifth year to stay at High Bank Ranch and it just as great as the first time!
