Luxurious Port A Retreat at the Grand Caribbean - 2bdr/2ba

We’ve been staying at the Grand Caribbean condos for years. It’s our go to Port A location. The condo was fantastic. Super clean and the view from the 2nd floor balcony did not disappoint. Only issue we had was there was no water pressure on our second nigh and Sunday AM and no hot water. Not sure what happened but we had to take cold showers. Other than that, we loved our stay and will be back at some point.

The view from the patio was amazing. It was an easy walk on the boardwalk to the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The cleaning staff for the property kept the pool clear and free from debris. They also worked dally keeping the parking lot clean and the walkways clean. The host was very easy to do business with. As one of my friends said I made and excellent choice in selecting this place.

This is a great property right on the beach, with convenient beach access and a sunrise view. The photos are accurate, and the host is very responsive! I would stay here again!

We had several issues with our stay. Our tv remote in the bedroom didn't work. I was told we would get a working tv remote by weeks end, that never happened. The tv itself and the cable box is so old you can't stream your personal apps on it. We had 7-8 lights that didn't work or were out. We had glasses in the pantry that were straight up dirty with residue which was repulsive as I almost drank out it and stopped at the last second. The gate from the beach back to the condo didn't work on several occasions locking us and several other guests out of the property for long stretches of time. The fix for a day was a traffic cone to prop it up which someone then of course moved again locking everyone out.There was used soap in the shower and swimsuits leftover in the drawers from previous guests. Who knows how long that was there. The elevator on multiple occasions did not work. The response from our communication with management or the owner was always "well I told someone its broken"-There was never any real accountability or ownership of the problem, so a lot of these items just never got fixed. The water pressure in the kitchen sink was so low you cant properly wash anything for dishes. Overall would not recommend, especially if you have children.
