Charming and Cozy Apt in the Hear of Westwood Village

This is a dishonest and fake add! The appartement wasn’t like described on the add: there were not 2 bedrooms as the add stated but one bedroom. Then, there no parking when the add says there was one, there was no dishwasher either and the add stated there was one. The « air conditioning «  was not central AC buta loud wall unit attached to open windows so it was extremely hard to sleep when the stand up AC was working, it was next to the living room bedroom’s bed so next to the pillow cases and it was too hot not to put it on. Catch 22! Also the wall unit was fixed in both open windows so you could hear all the noises from outside: cars parking in the middle of the night, people talking late at night or partying, leaf blowers, gardeners. There is no privacy because the appartement is facing another living room window so you have to close the blinds and then it is too dark . The owner : I told him about the issues and he gave me no help besides letting me have paper plates! He didn’t care at all ! Then he ignored me the whole time, he never replied To my voice messages, or the Home Away messages so I left the appartement ASAP even if I had rented it for one month. Not having the owner taking care of the issues , we didn’t feel safe anymore. Too many issues and the add was false! Later on, the owner reproached me that he gave me a monthly discount, which doesn't Show on the traveler’s account but how bad faith is it to reproach me the monthly discount, he did apply a discount for long terms as many owners do. I rent my appartement on Airbnb and I never reproach it to anyone, it is my choice and travelers choose then according to their budget. I had to find a new location on last minutes, asking friends to host us, renting in hotels and here and there but the owner decided to ignore the issues he created by lying in the add! Worst experience ever. He didn’t try to accommodate us regarding the issues. He ignored us for the whole time! He was not feeling responsable and we couldn’t get hold of him, Homeaway tried and left him messages as well. How selfish and irresponsible ! Who knows whose appartement it is really. We didn't Feel safe at all since the owner stop communicating, it was too risky to stay in a place that looks like fraudulous business. I have called Homeaway many times to fix the issue. It was a nightmare! We were frustrated and felt hopeless. Would definitely avoid this fake place.

Propriétaire sympathique bien que n'ayant rien assuré pendant 24 heures. 2 heures sur le trottoir pour le voir par hasard. Obligé de prendre un petit hotel la première nuit qu'il a remboursé le dernier jour. Pas d'adresse exacte et de tel lors de la confirmation ( faute d'abritel ). Elle est arrivée bien après et je n'avais aucune raison d'aller au delà de la résa. TRÈS BIEN SITUÉ et immeuble charmant mais équipements inutilisables dignes d'un vide grenier en dehors des lits, du réfrigérateur et des couverts. Gros frais de resto non prévus. Mais au global nous nous y sommes faits. L'endroit et la gouaille du proprio ont adouci les difficultés rencontrées de sa faute mais aussi de celle d'abritel. Ayant retenu souvent par vous entre autre en france lors des 2 semaines précedentes je me méfierait maintenant
