8 person holiday home in Hjørring-By Traum

The pool was amazing! It’s about 1.5m deep, so you can actually swim around, and it fits several adults. We traveled as a multigenerational family - grandparents, parents, 1 5-year-old - and we had a lovely time. The great room is large and bright with wonderful windows. The bedrooms are plenty large for 2 people in each, and the kitchen is stocked with all the dishes and pans you could ever need. (Unless you are a professional chef. Then you’ll really want a knife.) You could easily host a group of 6. The bedding was good quality (okotek), freshly pressed, and included kitchen towels. Everything worked well, and what help we did need with a refrigerator issue came on a Saturday! And a holiday! And the workman was very friendly and efficient. The swings were great for a smaller child - probably for a bigger one too. The yard was large and fun to run in, and the bucolic setting over looking a neighbouring farm (cows!) was idyllic. Keep a lookout for the pheasant who sleeps in a tall pine in the back. Walking into town was much easier than it seems on Google Maps, and you’re not far from the lighthouse either! We would book again! We were quite comfortable.

The property is very well loved and could do with some fresh flooring and bed covers in the bedrooms, which made the house feel dirtier than it probably was when we arrived. And the deck will probably need to be redone in the near future, given that most of the screws are completely stripped on one side. The instructions for finding the water meter was completely lacking. We discovered this only after spending a great deal of time trying to find it. It’s evidently in a crawl space underneath the floor of the sauna, where the pool mechanics are, but we never managed to find the actual meter. Other instructions would have been helpful too. (How do you heat the pool? Is it always on? If you turn it off, how long does it need to warm up again? Are you supposed to use the breakers to turn it off? If we had wanted heat, how does it work?) But one does expect a certain amount of mystery in a rental house, so it was a small thing. Overall, we would book again! We were quite comfortable and happy!

Lage super, alles im Haus vorhanden... z. T. jedoch verschlissen, Haus und Einrichtung einfach, aber zweckmäßig, mit Fahrrad Beste Lage zum Strand und Ort, Einkauf im Ort gut, der Ort ist interessant und vielseitig. Checkin problemlos und unkompliziert

Ablesung der Wasseruhr ( so man sie findet!) ist eine Zumutung und für etwas weniger gelenkige Gäste unmöglich, Der Zustand des Whirlpools ist wenig einladend. Fenster und Türen gehören gewartet und justiert, ansonsten drohen grössere Reparaturen. Ansonsten... alles ausreichend gut!
