Lakefront bungalow with private beach just 20km from Albufeira

Great host, very accommodating. Although rustic the accommodation was really well equipped. Enjoyed the games room and the lakeside beach. We didn’t get time to use the kayaks, but they were available to use. Enjoyed the boulle’s and amazing views and it’s a great place to get off the beaten track. It is reached by a long and bumpy road, it’s well worth it to relax.

It's a great place to relax and to connect to nature, Jens is really welcoming and you can tell he likes to receive people in the property. The river is amazing with clean water and you can really spend some days sunbathing on the private beach. Definitely returning!

Firstly, the photos don't quite capture how idyllic this setting is, with its views of the mountains and the river, where the only sound is nature. The cabin is a perfect size, really cosy and Jens, the host, has thought of every detail, I cannot think of one thing that is missing. The cabin stays cool throughout the day and the outdoor space is well sheltered. Even though the weather was 30 degrees plus when we were there, we were never too hot at the cabin. We used the solar boat for a tranquil cruise up the river with a picnic. Jens is a great host, super generous and very kind. All in all, a very special place.
