Super location - especially if you're wanting to go to Te Kaha (the stadium), Riverside Market, or the central city shopping areas. Room was generous in size, and had everything you could need. Even a washing machine and complimentary laundry liquid! The bed and furnishings were very comfortable. The bathroom was absolutely spotless, with a divine shower and lovely touches like a heated towel rail and complimentary products. And the kitchen was extenisive for a studio unit.
Given the size of the room, it seemed very strange to only have a double/queen bed in it (we can't agree on what it actually was). The location was surprisingly quiet on the whole, although unfortunately a car did park outside for a while at 2:30am with a booming stereo, and it took another brave guest to go outside and ask them to be quiet. But that is beyond the company's control - and ear plugs were provided.

The double bed was small. Given the size of the room it would have been easy to have a much larger bed
