Perfect for those looking for peace and quiet- very rural but great for country walks

Log burner was difficult to manage and didn’t emit a lot of heat

Had everything you need and more. Only down side is the private road being in poor condition which is a lengthy road, would not like to do it in a low slung car that’s not 4x4. Luckily I have a Jeep. Let that not distract from the Cottage and it’s surroundings it lovely well worth tackling the above mentioned.

We had a brilliant stay, the cottage was much better than the pictures show and exactly the type of holiday we wanted, it was remote and peaceful so that we could completely relax and switch off and spend our time relaxing with the hot tub or relaxing with a log fire. While there was another property close by we still had privacy for the hot tub and didn't hear anything from the other property so we could completely switch off and relax which is the type of holiday we wanted. All the facilities were working and with any instructions needed to so we could do anything needed inside and apart from any food we needed everything we needed to enjoy our stay was provided inside the cottage.

Great, quiet location with lovely cottage and hot tub.

Only complaint was presence of mice, who easily find their way onto the kitchen worktops and leave lots of droppings there.
