Luxury Villa Hera with Private Pool

Die Lage ist toll und das Haus lebt von dem außergewöhnlichem Pool mit Meerblick und dem schönen Stil von außen

Das Haus ist grundsätzlich wunderschön, allerdings leider deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Wir waren bereits vor drei Jahren hier, als das Haus noch nahezu neu war. Umso enttäuschender war es zu sehen, dass seitdem offensichtlich kaum etwas investiert oder erneuert wurde. Besonders ärgerlich war die mangelhafte Ausstattung der Küche: Es gab nur ein komplett kaputtes Schneidebrett für ein Haus mit acht Personen, zusammengewürfeltes Besteck und Gläser, stark zerkratzte Pfannen sowie einen Kühlschrank, bei dem zwei Türhalterungen fehlen. Dadurch ist der Stauraum viel zu klein. Außerdem gibt es nicht einmal ausreichend gleiche Gläser, Besteck oder Schüsseln, um den Tisch für alle Gäste zu decken. Dass man Gläser zwischendurch abwaschen muss, weil für acht Personen nur sechs vorhanden sind, ist in dieser Preisklasse einfach nicht akzeptabel. Auch viele andere Dinge waren defekt oder stark abgenutzt: Der untere Korb des Geschirrspülers lässt sich nur schwer einschieben, die Wäscheständer und das Bügelbrett sind kaputt, der Duschabfluss funktioniert so schlecht, dass das Badezimmer nach jeder Dusche unter Wasser steht. Zusätzlich fanden wir einen verschimmelten Shaker. Insgesamt entsteht der Eindruck, dass der laufenden Betreuung und Instandhaltung des Hauses kaum Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt wird. Das zeigt sich an vielen kleinen Details und mindert den Komfort erheblich. Leider ist auch die aktuelle Betreuung vor Ort nicht mit jener von vor drei Jahren vergleichbar. Auf berechtigte Hinweise wurde wenig lösungsorientiert und teilweise unfreundlich reagiert. Der größte Ärger entstand jedoch nach unserer Abreise: Wir haben unser Babyphone (Wert ca. 200 €) im Haus vergessen und noch am selben Tag gebeten, es auf unsere Kosten per Post nachzusenden. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass nichts gefunden worden sei – obwohl wir das Gerät über die App eindeutig noch im Zimmer orten konnten. Seitdem erhalten wir keinerlei Rückmeldung mehr.

Jenny war perfekt . Konnte man immer erreichen . Die Lage war himmlisch . Die ganze Villa war Luxus pur . Die Betten top . Haben sehr gut geschlafen . Rollos vor den Fenstern top. Alles war echt schön .. Tollen Urlaub gehabt mit bestem Wetter 😉😊🥰

Das wir wieder abreisen mussten von der Mega Villa

Totul a fost superb, dar clar piscina este punctul central al acestei cazări. Am apreciat mult și vederea din dormitorul principal 🥰 cele mai frumoase răsărituri.

Nu a fost nimic să nu ne placă.

First of all, I want to say that the host was extremely nice — always responded quickly and was a very pleasant communicator. The pool and the view add a lot to the house and are among the few things that give the property a “luxurious” feel. The property is perfect for people who love animals — there are many cats running around, and goats are regular visitors in the yard (you definitely shouldn’t forget to keep the doors closed or leave food out on the tables). The hair dryer worked well.

We stayed in this villa with friends for 9 nights. The villa has one bedroom on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the upper floor. The water pressure in the upstairs bathrooms was extremely poor and really tested our patience — sometimes the water would just trickle from the shower head. Hot water also took around 5–10 minutes to come through. (There is an electric boiler that can be switched on separately, but we were told it shouldn’t be kept on for long.) Similarly, in the upstairs bathrooms, after flushing the toilet, you had to wait about 20 minutes before you could flush again because of the low water pressure. The bathrooms also don’t have curtains, and one of the bathroom windows faces directly onto the street, meaning anyone walking or driving by can see straight in — including when you’re in the shower or sitting on the toilet. Each bathroom had only one roll of toilet paper for 9 days, and it was the cheapest, single-ply kind. As for cleanliness: overall the house was clean, except for the floors. It seems the villa is meant for wearing shoes inside, but since we preferred to walk barefoot, we ended up mopping the floors several times on the first day to avoid getting our feet dirty. The shower heads were covered in limescale, so we bought descaler from the store and cleaned them ourselves. The chair and sofa covers were very stained — including the couch, armchairs, sun loungers, and outdoor sofa. We even washed the worst ones ourselves because they were quite unpleasant. There are large ants in the kitchen — even if you remove all food from the counters, they still come in through the gap under the main door and crawl across the surfaces. Overall, it feels like most of the “luxury” comes from the pool and the view, while the interior furniture and finishes are the cheapest possible, likely chosen to rent the house out quickly and inexpensively at a high price.
