It was clean. The meals were decent. It had a washing machine and outside clothesline and space to lay in the sun and have a stretch.
It was lovely walking down the hill in the morning to dawn breaking.
The rooms were small. It was up a hill at the end of a long walk.

Pilgrim dinner was delicious, and our host was very friendly and helpful. All was spotlessly clean, and laundry facilities were very nice. Even though it’s not right in town, it’s close enough— a very short walk beyond the famous Roman bridge. It was chilly out but our host made sure to turn on the bedroom heat while we were at dinner, so the room was toasty at bedtime.
A comfy living room area would be a nice addition. The building is very spacious (it’s actually a large converted farm building) but lacks that “cozy” feeling some albergues offer.
