Hotel Du Vin Stratford

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Great cocktails. The rooms are very clean, quiet, elegantly decorated and climate controlled… perfect in a random UK heatwave! The only areas of improvement I’d say, is Communication prior to arrival. It was alost impossible to get hold of someone to arrange parking ( no email reply or answer to phone calls), and the parking - by the time we spoke with someone to book, there was only availability on one night and when we arrived, our reserved space wasn’t available.

HDV overall we had a lovely stay , staff really helpful and friendly,. We stayed in a classic room which was a good size, Raoul collet . Unfortunately it overlooked car park so we did have a bit of noise and I think possibly the bin men/ dray delivering early morning. Lovely loccitane products . Shower pressure a little on the slow side but a nice big cubicle. ‘A dog friendly hotel ‘ I would say it’s a dog tolerant hotel ! A bed , bowls and treats were provided however we did pay *** per night extra for this . Restaurant is a no go for dogs even for breakfast . Plenty of areas could easily be nominated for people With dogs in the restaurant that wouldn’t interfere with other guests as I understand it’s not for everyone ! We felt a little ostracized because of that ! This is the only reason we wouldn’t return to HDV Breakfast was lovely and fresh , Sunday lunch was defo value for money £35 for 3 courses . A lovely outdoor patio for when sun is out ☀️ Great location for walking around SonA

Fantastic hotel, I booked one of the suites and it was lovely, plenty of space and very high standard We had a meal in the bistro and the food was amazing Breakfast was lovely too, if you get the chance to stay at this hotel then do so as you will not regret it Will be returning very soon

Hotel overpriced compared to other visits to Stratford Upon Avon in a different hotel. Bedrooms and communal areas very dark (gloomy) with inadequate lighting.
