Ferienwohnung Paula in Friedrichshafen

Very clean, great kitchenette and washing machine. OK for 4 people, though not quite enough bedding and towels. A fair few flights of stairs from the carpark, where the entrance is actually on a different road (Manzeller St) was a little hard to find and parking spot was good underground but very tight. It's a nice quiet area with bus#11 across the rd going straight into town. The church however has bells that start at 6am.

Not quite enough pillows, towels and bedding for 4. The church bells are a bit early! And constant throughout the day and evening.

O apartamento fica quente em doa de sol. Possui persiana nas janelas do balcao. As duas janelas de telhado possuem um black-out, mas por dentro e estes se aquecem com a insolacao.

Die Unterkunft ist Teil eines Mehrfamilienhauses und liegt im 2. Stock (kein Aufzug, nur Treppe). Das Appartement war genau so, wie es auf den Fotos abgebildet ist. Es war grundsätzlich sauber, freundlich dekoriert und weitgehend gut ausgestattet (Handtücher, Küchengeräte, Gewürze, Teebeutel). Das Bad ist klein, aber dafür gibt es bei Bedarf eine Waschmaschine (die wir allerdings nicht benutzt haben). Der Check-In hat gut funktioniert - alle Informationen dazu bekamen wir vorab als Nachricht über Booking.com. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war für uns absolut stimmig.

Es gab zwar eine Kaffeemaschine - allerdings insgesamt nur zwei Kapseln für zwei Personen und drei Nächte. Vielleicht ist es Meckern auf hohem Niveau, aber wenn es schon eine Kaffeemaschine gibt, hätten wir uns für diese Zeit einfach mehr vorhandene Kapseln gewünscht. Wer hier übernachtet, sollte wissen, dass nebenan eine Kirche steht, die auch sonntags um 6.00 Uhr morgens lautstark die Glocken läutet. In einer Wohnung auf dem selben Stock wohnt u.a. eine Familie mit Kindern, die scheinbar täglich und pünktlich um 7.30 Uhr laut im Hausflur unterwegs ist. Und im Appartement selbst hört man jeden Abend das Brummen des Kühlschrankes. Bis auf den Kühlschrank haben die Unterkunftgeber darauf natürlich keinen Einfluss. Für alle geräuschempfindlichen Personen sind Oropax aber dringend zu empfehlen.

Nice apartment, good layout and enough space for two people. Kitchen was well equipped.

The Internet was not working at all the 4 days we stayed at the apartment. The owner opened a ticket with the Internet provider but that did not help. As we are living in the UK it was quite expensive to use our mobile data and the speed was really poor. In this day and age I expect the WiFi to work and the owner said they never had issues but I've checked on past reviews and it was mentioned quite a few times that the WiFi was either not working at all or very poor. We were also provided with only 1 toilet roll which I think is a joke if you are staying for 3 nights and so we had to buy some. The shower door is broken so they have a curtain instead which reading the reviews has been an issue since 2023. In general it is a nice enough place but could definitely use some renovation work. We stayed here in low season but if we had to pay the price for the high season I would not have been happy at all.
