Beautiful historical home with modern amenities. Clean and Very spacious with 2 comfortable living areas and kitchens. Decor beautiful, toiletries provided and some kitchen extras like paper towels, k-pods and sugar. Neighborhood is charming and is in walking distance of many restaurants, bars and shops. Recommend highly!

5 couples stayed 3 nights and we all loved the house. Probably the nicest rental we have stayed in. Beautiful house. Historic charm but very nicely modernized. Well decorated, but comfortable. Very clean. Loved hanging out on both the front porch and back deck as well as the 2 living rooms and we used both kitchens. Everyone had their own room with king size beds and each couple had their own bathroom. We would definitely recommend this house.

Our gang of six couples gathered here for the Bourbon trail. We are well into our sixties and found the house to be very comfortable. Beautiful historic mansion with very comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was well appointed and we put the coffee makers to work! Kristen was very responsive to questions. The location was convenient for dining, downtown, the highway and the airport.

I can't say enough good things about this beautiful home. It has been flawlessly renovated with details that fit right into the vintage feel. It feels modern, yet comfortable and authentic. Kristen, the host, worked with us on a couple of special requests. She always responded within minutes, and was very accommodating. The home smelled clean because it is clean, and they don't use any of the chemical air fresheners, which is a huge plus for me. I've stayed in more than 60 VRBOs in the last few years, and this experience is definitely one of the very best. Lots of nearby restaurants, and tons of parking rounded out the experience. You can't go wrong with this magnificent home and delightful host!

We loved this house! We came with 5 couples and the spacious house had plenty of room and everyone got their own bathroom. It is newly remolded and beautifully decorated. We all raved about it. It’s in a cute neighborhood and in walking distance to fun restaurants. We had a wonderful stay!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect home to stay in during a recent extended weekend trip. Everything about the home is great--the location is walkable to restaurants, a brewery and coffee; the primary kitchen is fully outfitted; the beds are plentiful and comfortable; several big spaces for a group to hang out; and lots of onsite parking. On top of all that, it was pristine and an quick and easy check-in and check-out process. Worth every penny and I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

The property was terrific... the house is in a safe neighborhood and was very comfortable for 5 couples. it was walking distance to church, restaurants and a short drive to downtown. We had a great time returning to our old stomping grounds. The Bardstown Road area is great and a short walk down into the winding park roads of Cherokee and Seneca parks was delightful. The house is large and so comfortable. Every amenity is supplied and it feels like home. Would definitely stay again if we needed a house of this size.

We were a group of 4 couples in town to visit distilleries. This house was more than perfect for us. Very clean and we enjoyed having two living rooms and two kitchens. I hosted five college girlfriends and rented this house for the six of us. We are early 60's and have been friends for 40+ years. The house was perfect for our group! Great, inviting kitchen on the first floor for breakfast and for charcuterie. We each were able to have our own room and only two of us had to share a bathroom (third floor). Lots of space for hanging out and visiting, with a living room on the first floor and a sitting room on the second floor. One friend went for a morning run down Douglass Blvd. into nearby Cherokee Park and loved it. The house was centrally located for our explorations of Cherokee and Seneca Parks, Cherokee Triangle, Cave Hill Cemetery, Frankfort Ave., Highlands neighborhood, and dinner at Le Relais. Beds and linens were very comfortable, kitchen well-appointed, house exceptionally clean. Highly recommend for groups or families! Spacious and more affordable and convenient than a hotel.

This is a beautiful, spacious property, and well located. Four couples and one single person shared the home, and it was perfect for our needs. Love that 5 of the bedrooms have king beds, and everyone had their own private bath. Kitchens on both the first and second floors were well stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals. Kristen & Eric were very responsive when we had questions. Quiet neighborhood, and very close to a beautiful park. I would definitely rent the home again if I were traveling to Louisville.
