Completely restored in 2017 and tastefully decorated, Trullo La Gioia is a stunning five-cone trullo which sleeps 6 (2 doubles + 1 double/twin, all with en-suite shower rooms).
Trullo La Gioia is located 8 km from the atmospheric town of Ceglie Messapica and 10 km from the beautiful town of Ostuni (known as "la città bianca"). Both of these towns are well served by excellent restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, weekly outdoor markets, etc. The nearest beaches are 15 km / 30 minutes away and there are a number of charming historic towns within easy reach: Martina Franca, Cisternino, Locorotondo, and Alberobello.
In a completely rural setting, surrounded by 5 acres of olive groves and fruit trees, the trullo is the perfect place to get away from it all.
Overlooking the trullo there is an idyllic private pool with sunloungers and deckchairs with views of the surrounding countryside.
There is a spacious shaded veranda to the side of the trullo with a large dining table and a comfortable seating area with sofas and cushions. Here you can enjoy eating alfresco and relaxing with a coffee or an aperitif.
Inside there is a spacious kitchen/diner, a utility room, and a delightful living room with an open fireplace.

Gorgeous house in wonderful surrounds. Wonderful pool. The pictures are 100% accurate. Picked figs and plums off the trees around the property. Bought fresh milk and cheese and great olive oil and prosciutto at the dairy a 10 minute drive or 1.5 hr walk away. We were a couple plus two single adults. Three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, was perfect. Not large but perfect size for us with multiple outdoor areas. Beautifully and minimally furnished. All you need to be able to cook yourselves. We ate lunch or dinner at the house every day. Peter is a wonderful remote host always instantly communicating any issues. There are 3x5 litre bottles to fill with drinking water in any of the nearby towns. Staying in early September we were blessed with sunny days, 27-29 degrees every day. Rarely more than a gentle breeze. We drive off most days to explore the nearby towns, as well as those further away like Lecce and Matera, and returned to laze by the pool with an apero before dinner. Absolutely recommend staying here provided you are happier being in the countryside surrounded by olive trees rather than in a town.

wunderschöne trullo in toller lage. schöne strände 1h entfernt. leider nicht so sauber, wie erwartet. bei starkem regen läuft wasser in die trullo. nach beschwerden beim vermieter, kein entgegenkommen seinerseits. langes warten auf rücküberweisung der kaution.
