The Gables complex sits in a very desirable location almost directly across the street from the base of Blackcomb Mountain and within an easy 5 minute walk of the Whistler Gondola and Whistler Village. Situated on the banks of Fitzsimmons Creek, The Gables is one of only a few complexes in Whistler that are ski-in/ski-out, close to Whistler Village, and set in a quiet forested area making it easy to get a good night’s sleep.

The Gables #19 was completely renovated in the fall of 2010 and is now one the nicest units in the complex. These major renovations included fresh paint, new furniture, wooden accents and slate flooring throughout, a brand new kitchen with deluxe appliances, dark wood cabinetry and granite countertops, a new washer/dryer plus too many other updates and upgrades to list them all. Guests at The Gables #19 will enjoy a sunken living room with wood burning fireplace, large flat screen T.V., leather sofabed and a ground floor patio with patio furniture and a private BBQ. The new fully equipped kitchen has every convenience from home including a dishwasher, microwave, range, toaster oven, coffee maker, toaster and much more. The bedding in this property is a Queen bed in the master bedroom and a Queen sofabed in the living room and there is also complimentary underground parking for one vehicle and free wireless internet.

The Gables #19 is one of our “Superior” rated properties and includes free wireless internet, a digital cable television package and free underground parking.

Lovely condo in an ideal location. We appreciated that it is so close to Whistler Village and walkable to ski lifts. The unit was clean and well-appointed, the kitchen had all the supplies we needed, and the WiFi worked well. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is a beautiful property. Furniture is great quality and comfortable. The kitchen amenities are all wonderful and plentiful. It was very close to shops and trails. Outdoor parking option was essential for us with a van. Bring a bike lock if you have a bike to store.

The Gables is in a great location. We have stayed here before. A couple of things to mention. We did not use the pull out sofa bed. However, there were crumbs between the main part of the sofas and the long divan on the side. Cutlery drawers had bits of ?? Likely crumbs. There was obviously a new clean garbage bag in the bin under the sink but the bin itself was dirty. Both inside on the bottom under the bag and on the outside sides. We washed it out. The placemats in the drawer to the left of the sink were very dirty with stains and spots. We put them through the laundry. They look better. The tea towels are pretty grim. One in particular, brown squares is as thin as a piece of paper and has two holes in it and needs to be replaced. We had a very nice time. Thank you Susan. I’m not sure if it is considered the ‘norm’ or not and didn’t bother us at all but the unit right next to #19 on the ground floor had 4 or so little poop bags that were stored outside the door for days. Just an FYI
