About this apartment rental
This Ocean View contemporary & spacious 1 bedroom condo (fully renovated December 2023) has a straight line view to the private beach, situated in the new beachfront community of Playa Turquesa Ocean Club, located in the heart of the tourist towns of El Cortecito & Los Corales(heart-throb of Punta Cana).
Nearly 900 sq. feet, third floor , with elevator, to include 1 large bedroom with King Sized bed with Simmons BackCare Pillowtop mattress, 50" Smart TV with free Netflix, and Safety Deposit box, 1 full bath & 1 half bath both with walk in showers and hairdryer, a full size contemporary kitchen extremely well equipped and with top of the line Frigidaire Gallery Series appliances, breakfast bar with seating, spacious livingroom which has leather corner sofa and dining table and chairs, with 65" Smart TV which includes free Netflix for our guests to enjoy & a large balcony with constant breezes from the ocean.
The balcony is equipped with dining table and chairs and top of the line Stainless Weber Gas BBQ to enjoy dining al fresco.
And we have comfortable seating to one side to enjoy a cocktail while watching the ocean.
All windows and doors have screens, together with ceiling fans, reducing your need for air conditioning, to make use of the natural breeze which flows through this condo
There are separate central air systems for the living area and the bedroom, meaning you only need to cool one area at once The bedroom has a wifi controlled thermostat, meaning you can schedule it to suit your needs
Other amenities include the best WiFi in the area with 400mbps download/200mbps upload speeds, (the norm is only 30mbps) this is private for our guests, a stackable washer/ dryer, cable TV, beach towels, a water cooler dispenser & more, and a detailed information book to steer our guests in the right direction!
The modern décor in cool ocean tones is both fresh and relaxing, with all the essentials included, making this a perfect vacation option.
This condo sleeps 2 adults. Electric is separate. You will witness the meter at check in/check out and pay only what you have used at check out

Arrivals and departures must be at the condo within an acceptable 14 hour work window, which is between 8am and 10 pm
Outside these hours you will be charged $50 USD per out of hours check-in/check-out
LOCATION IS PERFECT: With several nearby beach-bar-restaurants all within a 2-15 minute walk from the main street AND just a 2 minute walk to the El Dorado Shopping Plaza where you’ll find a grocery store, 4 restaurants, ala bakery, & shops.
Playa Turquesa itself has its own commercial area with Bakery/Cafes, Restaurants such as Citrus and Dolce Italia, Bars and Grocery Store Other plazas nearby collectively offer even more dining options such as the Plaza Coral with La Bruja Chupadora finest BBQ restaurant/Pub, Pranama Indian Restaurant, and Carbon Chophouse, spas, cash exchange, ATM, & car/ scooter/ cell phone rentals..

This is a Family owned condo, professionally managed by the owners onsite & English speaking for complete personal customer satisfaction. Discounted excursion (TOUR) options and transportation services are also provided to our vacation rental guests. We know this area like the back of our hands and are always happy to assist our hundreds of vacation rental clients annually. When traveling abroad, it is reassuring to know a physical person is available to assist with any questions or concerns you may have, before, during, and after your stay.
NOTE: White Water rafting and Whale Watching tours are offered as well. Due to the further locations these are full 1 to 3 day excursions. These activities are offered at different parts of this 2nd largest Caribbean Island and may be a 4-6 hour drive away. Please ask us for more information. All other activities are either a short walk, or short taxi or tour bus ride away. Other unique OR more private tours are also available. If you can imagine it, we probably have it and can make all the arrangements for you either prior to, or after your arrival. Electric is an additional charge. We will witness the meter reading with you on arrival and the same on your last morning. You pay for what you consumed during your stay at the moment of check out. Short term renters may not have guests that were not part of the original booking

I had read one bad review but ignored it because all others were excellent. I'm glad I did so. It makes one wonder why some people can be so unfair. The condo is immaculate and decorated just right for a beach setting. Liz could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The beach club is great with friendly staff, tasty food options and good drinks. The local area is very safe and excellent restaurants are close by. Music is available every evening at one or other of the local bars. Overall, we were very impressed and will definitely return.

Liz was the best host. The property and accommodations were awesome. Close to the beach and easy walking distance to many restaurant options. I would highly recommend staying at her condo.

I will say the unit is very clean and has everything you will need. The bed is comfortable. My major issues were 1: too much construction noise coming from the other units. The host of course has no control over this. Also buzzing of weed whackers for several days on end to cut the grass on the lawn (no lawnmower)! Then there is nightly fogging for mosquitos. Just a lot of noise. 2. The front desk staff is rude and has difficulty with communication. 3: the beach side restaurant bar is expensive and the wait staff unfriendly. Doesn't take much to say thank you, come again or how was everything. That was pretty much true in all of the restaurants. 4. The area across the street is a problem with hawkers- trying to sell tours, wares, and yes, even drugs. This is both annoying and scary. The small grocery store is very limited and expensive. 5. Liz is a lovely person. We had an unfortunate incident with her husband trying to get into the unit while we were there to show something to a tile worker. This was not communicated to us and when we didn't let him in he tried to push his way through the door. Very upsetting but we talked about it later and decided it was a problem with communication. I would say this is a great place for a short stay and if you don't plan on spending much time in the unit itself. Bring your earplugs.
