Nice option close to corfu center

Very disappointing mainly due to location

What helped save the trip was that, despite the issues, the apartment was very clean and well-equipped. All the necessary tools were available — from kitchen utensils to the washing machine and even a drying rack for laundry. When we requested fresh towels and for the trash to be taken out, it was done promptly. That level of responsiveness and the cleanliness were really the only things that made us patient and able to tolerate the rest.

The location was disappointing, especially since it wasn’t clearly stated that the house is at the end of a pedestrian alley and quite isolated. You also can’t park a car in front of the house, which made things even more inconvenient. What made it worse was that the apartment is underground — again, not mentioned in the listing. The bathroom was very small and had a persistent smell coming from the drains. The bed was also very uncomfortable — it offered no support and sank in completely, which was bad for the back.

Good for shorter stays

Well connected to Corfu town center, the bus is very close. Lots of parking spots nearby. Cosy terrace, ideal for morning breakfast or afternoons with friends. AC in each room - very much required during Corfu's summer :) Easy check-in. Apartment equipped with all required facilities.

Spent 7 nights, I would have preferred to have more cleaning sessions, not just 1 that I had to request myself. After the single cleaning session, there was brought just 1 toilet paper and no shower gels were supplemented. I'd say it's good for shorter stays, unless you don't feel the need for additional cleaning sessions.

Disappointing experience

Apartment appeared well equipped and clean. Local contact communicated well regarding check in.

We ended up leaving after just one night due to several serious issues with the bathroom that made the accommodation unsuitable. The sink wasn’t draining properly, the shower arm was broken, and there was a strong, unpleasant odour that made the bathroom very uncomfortable to use. We understand that things can go wrong occasionally, but the state of the bathroom suggested these weren’t new problems. The hosts downplayed our complaints, stating it was just a plug issue, there was no smell, and that we shouldn’t have rushed off because they could have fixed it. As paying guests, we were not willing to spend another part of our holiday waiting for a repair. We booked expecting a fully functioning room, which is a reasonable expectation. As an aside, two local taxi drivers (one when we checked in and one when we returned in the evening) didn’t know where the accommodation was. We gave the directions as instructed, but one driver got lost and the other asked us to get out and walk. Since we’d just arrived in Corfu and weren’t sure if it was safe to walk, we thought this feedback might be helpful—but it wasn’t well received. I wish I had paid more attention to the review that stated “ the property is a serious distance from the main roads and ultimately down a poorly lit lane. the services were nearby the property but not each other. we were so uncomfortable we left.” as we felt the same. For clarity, I’ll add that after staying in Corfu, we found it to be a very safe place. It’s disappointing that instead of acknowledging the situation, the owners chose and continue to downplay our experience. They have refused to refund the second night and for this reason—along with all the reasons mentioned above, I cannot recommend them.

Amazing Host and maisonette location

The maisonette was amazing and well equipped. Petros our host tried to make it ready with the basics like coffee and water. If you need anything, you can do your groceries by going to the nearest supermarket or just use delivery apps like efood or Wolt.

A lovely flat which was perfect for what we wanted.

All in all it was a nice place for a short stay

The apartment is very big and clean also nice decoration it has an fully equipped kitchen with fridge and washing machine as well as an Iron + plank in the closet and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The backdoor from the bedroom leads to the terrace, it has a nice nature view. The building is the last house on the street it's quiet and cosy easy to access. Also there is public transportation near by ... Bus stop called Mon Repos - museum but also enough space to park one and more cars in the backyard. At 2 mins walk there is a mini market for groceries on the main road.

The shower cabin was very small also the door didn't close correctly. The washing machine didn't quite work, my laundry was still wet actually soaked in wet, so I guess the machine has a problem and need to be cleaned or fixed in order to work correctly. Also from the apartment to the City center around 20 mins walk or 10 mins by bus/car. This is not a central situated apartment, but perfect for last minute bookings during season.

Impoverished neighbourhood terrible experience, we abandoned our booking after one night

The owners only left four coffee pods one bottle of water and one juice and some packet croissants. In temperatures of almost 40 degrees, no accessibility by car to the property, lack of drinking water and carrying heavy loads through back streets in this heat was a nightmare. Never been anywhere without a proper welcome pack before.

Intimidating neighbourhood located close to the highest security prison in Corfu, street graffiti everywhere and the balcony led straight out to a swamp area full of mosquitoes. We stay in many locations in Corfu Town, as we are locals who live in the rural part of the island. It was a very long walk from the centre of town, through poorly lit social housing and the property was inaccessible by taxi.

We loved our stay at Domus Lux house, the AirBnb was very clean and we loved the croissant and juice the hosts left for us. The hosts responded to our needs quickly and were very lovely and helpful. The bed was super comfy which was also a plus! would definitely stay again :)

A lovely house close to the city and waterfront

This place was great for two people and we had an amazing stay! There are 3 balconies total (one in each bedroom and one in the living room) + a patio with table and chairs, so you can relax all over the house. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and conveniently placed. From the front side the house overlooks the neighboring houses and yards and from the back side it overlooks a lush green oasis, where you can hear and observe birds, as well as hundreds of fireflies, sparkling in front of the living room balcony in the evenings! Dinnertime on the balcony was magical, with pink skies during the sunset and a fireflies show once it got dark! The location was great, you can reach the city center by foot in about 20-30mins, while the waterfront is about 10-15mins away by foot. You can park the car for free near the house, 5mins away by foot, and since we visited in the middle of May (not the peak season) we had no trouble finding a parking spot. There is a groceries shop near the house, but we noticed that the prices there are higher than any other shop we visited during our stay all over the island. For groceries we recommend Lidl. If you like cats this house will be heaven, as a number of cats frequently stop by the patio and seek attention (or treats). :)

The only thing we didn't like is that in one of the bedrooms you can hear the neighbors since there is a shared wall. The second bedroom didn't have this issue, so we stayed there.

The apartment itself was fine 😃 Pity about the seating area in the back the overgrown field wasn't something you want to be looking at .The local shop / butcher's was great to get essential. An 2a bus stop close by but you need to be flexable with times it was always late..

The location was so bad for use with three children .. it's not a comfortable walk from bus stop to apartment.No path so walking on the edge of the road which is extremely busy Not light up so we had to use are torches on are phone or back before darkness fell. The beach was stoney so water shoes a good idea as first day we'd a few cuts.The mono repo beach was closed an in need of a lot of work.More options for extra bedding . Pillow really soft an pretty flat . Sofa bed needs something not comfy for staying on more than 2/3 night.check out time was really early .. An we had to keep are luagge all day as the place was fully booked for holding luagge... An it's not local to the apartment so you need to go away into the town to come back for the airport. The apartment is 35 mins walk from the town for more options for food an shopping ,exploring.

It’s decent

Very clean, modern, with own terrace. I loved my morning walks for coffee at the old town.

Location, I know Corfu town well and I was fine with location as I know my way around. There are some restaurants nearby. Old town is a 30 mins walk. My terrace was in the shade, and there was water dripping from an AC and it smelt damp all the time as it never dried out. That’s disappointing, I don’t mind shade but damp smell all the time is unnecessary when that water could be channelled to drain with dripping.

I arrived late from the airport and there were coffee, water, bread, biscuits and products for the washing machine. I felt so bad not replacing those things or having any cash to leave as a tip when I left

Very quiet neightbourhood, spacious property, modern design, good location. Sevina, our host, very nice, tryied to help us as much as she could.

You had to leave your car and walk for 2 minutes in a narrow alley, you couldn’t reach the property using your car. It needs some more care with cleanliness. Bedroom balconies were dirty. Not at all cleaning products for bathrooms, not at all roll of absorbent paper or paper tissue for kitchen.

Dissapointing and unhospital

The appartement is quite big, there is the kitchen and living room downstairs and twoo bedrooms upstairs. There are two bathrooms, on on each floor. Very spacious and comfortable.

I was traveling with my two young kids and my compagnon. We left home in France at 3 o'clock in the morning and arrived at 9 in the morning at corfu. Everybody excausted.. The manager met us at 10h30 at the appartement, we could leave our luggage, but not stay anywhere while the cleaning lady was taking care of the apartment. We proposed to stay at the balcony or the terrace, she refused. So I had to take my children out, no café or anything else there and walk with 42 degrees Celsius for about an hour.. To release the room, we were supposed to leave it at 10h, so at 10h the cleaning lady knocked at the door...of course these where the rules noted somewhere in the booking process but with two young children and 42 degrees Celsius we needed some flexibility.. We arrived and left upset, it felt like the machine turning in full tourist period but no hospitality at all... Very disappointing, 275 euros fot 2 nights, but we felt unwelcomed..

Perfect end to a two week stay in Corfu

We were met by Sabrina who was super helpful. The location seems a long way from Corfu Town but the number 2A bus stops very near by (less than 5 minutes walk) and Mon Repro beach is less than a 10 minute walk.

The bathroom was a bit grubby but the shower was amazing! If four of you stayed with 4 cases, it would be a squeeze. As it was only the two of us we could put our luggage on the second bed so lack of storage was not a problem.

Everything was just so clean and pleasant. The host even left some small attentions for us, like a bottle of wine, coffee and snacks. There were enough towels, the terrace was large, the rooms nicely furnished and cool, even without the air conditioner. Would definitely rent the property again if needed. 5/7 best place!

2 separate bedrooms

Only one bedroom was ready when we arrived. Maybe the staff didn’t know that we need 2 separate bedrooms even if we were in 2 persons… when I contacted about it with the owner, the next day we’ve got the bedlinen for the second bedroom.
