The Happy Gecko is a two bedroom fully self-contained villa positioned in one of the very best spots in the whole resort complex. Just a short flat stroll from your door you have access to all Kingfisher Bay facilities including a multitude of award winning restaurants, bars, cafe and pizzeria.
Perfect for both those looking to relax and reconnect with nature OR those seeking an action packed adventure holiday. Either way, Happy Gecko will tick all the boxes!
The villa has a queen size bed in the main bedroom with a double bed plus a king-size single in the second bedroom. The bathroom has a spa bath and fabulous adjustable shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, stove and everything else you may need.
There is cable TV and internet access is available (for a fee).
There are guided nature walks, canoe trips, tennis courts, 3 salt water pools and a spa sanctuary for those seeking a pamper. For a minimal cost have the night off while the kids enjoy the junior eco ranger program (runs most weekends and school holidays).
When not lounging by the pool or dining in an award winning restaurant, your days will be spent watching the whale migration, spotting dugongs or loggerhead turtles - and that is before even leaving the resort.
Further afield, the beaches, the rainforest, the crystal clear lakes and the wildlife will have you amazed and ensure you leave rejuvenated.

A beautiful villa with comfy beds to come back to after a big day of exploring K’gari. The villa was clean and felt so nice to be in. We loved having access to the resort area too. Highly recommend.

The property was clean & tidy however is getting a little dated. The water pressure in the shower was very poor & the lighting was poor given the amount of fixtures (needs brighter bulbs). Appliances all seemed functional however we did not use the spa bath due to the time it would have required to fill it with the water pressure. i would also suggest a hose/shower outside to rinse off after beach time.
Very close to all ammenities at the resort & a short work to the beach. All in all we had a great time on the island.
