Koya Backpackers was a brilliant impromptu stay. Yusuke made me feel right at home immediately. Their guesthouse is nestled in a forest next to a wild bird sanctuary, so I could enjoy the soundtrack of the chirps from the birds in the morning, which was a lovely experience. Everything about the stay was calm and peaceful, and within walking distance to the Tonbo-no-yu onsen, it was a great location!

Lovely quiet spot, aesthetic interior, staff kindly allowed early check in which was much appreciated. I didn’t get much time to enjoy the location or the benefits due to other scheduling.
We weren’t able to take showers until 4pm due to cleaning. We were at the time trying to prepare for a wedding so that was not the most convenient. Curtains on the beds were also quite clear so they didn’t block out the light super well. However the shower wouldn’t affect other customers arriving later, it was just our specific circumstances thag made it difficult.

避暑地だけに、道路事情が良くありませんでした。 近くに、星野リゾートがあり、信号なしの交差点で団子に成って渋滞してました。
